korean fast food 9/1/2005

korean fast food in a take out box? gushi is bang for its buck. for the price you get a lot of food and it's pretty good. of course it's only a little outdoor shack so don't expect the same as if you were sitting in a korean restaurant but their bulgolgi isn't bad and neither are their glass noodles. the food is a little bit heavy and oily though so it's not the healthiest of places but it's good. more

Good for College Budget 8/19/2005

Gushi is god's gift to poor college students. It offers a menu of various chinese and teryaki meals for incredibly low prices. However, the atmosphere is non-existant and the seating is limited. If you are okay sitting nearly on the curb, you'll be fine. A good place to pick up a little snakc whilst walking about town. more

everyone loves this place 8/16/2005

Everyone I know raves about this place. Mostly because it is cheap. People love to eat here after parties too. I thought the food was decent, but not the best I have ever had. It is cheap though, so I can't complain too much. Don't expect to find parking if you're driving there. If it's a "party night" in Westwood, expect long lines, especially around the time parties are ending. more

Gushi Bowl 8/9/2005

Gushi is for the Korean BBQ lover in you. The prices are decent, and reflect the portion of meat you order, unlike other places further down on Sawtelle. The location is close to campus, food tastes great and pretty much made when you order. My only qualms are the outside seating (if it's cold), lack of parking and the [sometimes belligerent] bums that constantly nag your already empty pocket for money. more
