The food and drinks were good, except one of the 4 steaks ordered in our group came out medium-well instead of medium-rare. We sent it back, and a new one came out cooked properly. Then our friend had trouble paying the bill with her debit card, and the manager was rude to her. She was mortified, so my husband paid the bill in full with a tip for our waiter who seemed okay up until that point. We laughed off the debit card trouble and kept talking for awhile. When we went to leave, the owner of the restaurant was waiting at the door for us. He accused us of not paying and was very rude! Apparently our waiter had not communicated to the manager that we paid the bill, and the manager had escalated the matter to the owner. We had to show our receipt to prove we had paid. This was a $350 bill plus tip that we paid...yet...neither the owner or the manager apologized to us for being treated like criminals. It was embarrassing and ridiculous! We will never go back and will spread the word about the way we were treated.
