We have been coming to the GroomingSPA at Greenlake for the past several years for the self service dog washing facilities and couldn't be happier!! The staff are friendly, professional and extremely helpful and courteous. We couldn't be happier with these services! We pass up several dog grooming spas close to home to come to the GroomingSPA! It is a gem in the Green Lake area!! Highly, highly recommend!! more

Great groomers 8/6/2011

Great groomers, my airedale terrier had a bath/cut done there today. They did a great job, it was a bit extra due to needing to be brushed more for matting, but seemed very fair. They were very nice, and would definitely go back again. more

Great First Time Experience 8/6/2011

When I came in they greeted me in a professional yet friendly manner. They knew who I was by the dog description when I made my appointment a couple of weeks ago. more

Great Spot for dogs and owners 11/22/2009

Maddy's Favorite Place 7/14/2009

I'm the owner of a very lovable, yet very timid (and VERY hairy) labradoodle named Maddy whose lack of suitable social manners had kept me away from the groomers for far too long. At the recommendation of a friend I took her into The Grooming Spa where I was instantly impressed by the friendly staff whose love of animals was very obvious. I was still so nervous to leave her and a little embarrassed that it had been so long since I had her groomed! The man that helped me made me feel very comfortable and when I came back to pick Maddy up I didn?t even recognized her she looked so nice! 2 years later, I am still going to The Grooming Spa in Greenlake. They know me and my dog by name and Maddy actually looks forward to going every month. I would recommend The Grooming Spa to anyone! Pros: Staff Knowledge; Customer Care; Pricing; Schedule more

Terrific experience at this spa 6/14/2009

We had a wonderful first time experience at this spa after adopting a senior lady Siberian husky in need of winter coat grooming. The staff gave an accurate estimate of time and price involved so we knew what to expect and did an excellent job on our new dog. We got the oatmeal bath for her and she smelled amazing for a week! The staff seemed very familar with this breed and gave her a ""hydrotherapy bath"" to help with removal of the undercoat. I would recommend this business to any dog owner and will definitely be back! Pros: Excellent staff and customer service Cons: Typical parking hassles due to location; none with spa more

Preschoolers with scissors do better 6/9/2009

If you're looking to have your dog groomed at the Grooming Spa, you can save yourself the money and take him/her to a preschool class instead. Simply arm the kids with scissors, and let them have at it. Voila! The Grooming Spa experience for free. I have a Scottish Terrier who is very friendly and outgoing. Most people know Scottish Terriers by their coats. Unfortunately, whoever groomed my dog must never have seen one before. When I picked up my dog (after paying, unfortunately, I'll never make that mistake again) I was surprised by how sloppy he looked. There was no blending between the back of the coat and the skirt, just a very severe, very unstraight line made by the clippers. One ear had about an inch and a half tuft of fur left in front of it, and the other had none. It's like someone did the other half and didn't stop to check what the first half looked like. Nothing was done to the tail, it looks unkempt and unshaped. The worst part of it is that now when I go to trim him with the scissors he cowers from me. He has never cowered (from me or anyone else) in the entire time I have owned him. I am completely beside myself to imagine what happened while I was gone that would make him act scared of me. DO NOT BOTHER. Pros: Nothing Cons: Everything more

I've tried both locations. BOTH ARE EXCELLENT!!!! 9/25/2008

I have been to Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and countless others in California and Florida. This place would do SO WELL if they went there. They are among the world class grooming establishments I've been to. They not only know how to do the cut I asked for, they did more than any other place I've been to--and it was included in the price. I never write, but when I found them online, I decided to give them the accolades they deserve. Definitely worth a try, and yes, they are worth the price. Pros: Upscale to include a cafe while I waited. Extremely dog friendly, and I go what I asked for. Cons: Parking more

My dog loves this place 8/2/2008

If you really care about pampering your dog AND yourself, you have to try this place. I loved the experience not only for my best buddy, but for me, too. We were treated very professionally, but at the same time, we had fun. more

A God-Send; One of the best places I've been in 20 years. 12/14/2007

I happened upon the Groomingspa about 8 years ago. I brought in my 12 year old husky for some much-needed hair removal. She needed extra special care because her hips were going out. Pros: Location, Flexibility, Empathy, Knowledge, Skill, Cleanliness, Value Cons: Hardly any more

I recently brought my dog here for a haircut and ended up having to take him to the emergency room. When I picked him up the groomers never mentioned to me that they had cut him. I brought him home and he wouldn't stop shaking. That is when I noticed he had a very deep, dime-sized gouge taken out of his belly, and for a six-pound dog, this is a very serious injury. The doctor said that the wound was most definitely caused by a clipper that had snagged his skin and ripped out a large piece of flesh. The wound was on the midline seam of his belly and if he didn't get stitches he was in serious danger of ripping further. The next morning, I returned to the Grooming Spa and told them what happened. They immediately denied and just as quickly admitted to injuring him, then glossed over the severity of his injury. I can understand that accidents happen but their failure to notify me completely betrayed my trust and put my dog in danger. I will not bring him back. more

Copper's favorite groomers 8/3/2006

We have been bringing our big collie Copper to the good people at GroomingSpa for all of his ten years, would never dream of going elsewhere. We loved it initially because the groomers/owners were so nice to Copper and we love it still for the same reason. A bonus is that they do excellent grooming, and we should know since we own one of the hairiest dogs around! Copper gets potty breaks, water breaks, treats and comes home looking and feeling pounds lighter. Now that he's older, the staff/owners all treat him especially carefully. Neither he nor I worry when he's in their competent hands. I highly recommend the full service as well as the self service offered. Pros: cleanliness, caring groomers Cons: it's a half-hour drive both ways for me, but well worth it more

Great experience - happy dog! 7/28/2006

Had an excellent first experience! Staff is very detail oriented, accommodating, and friendly. My dog walked out with a beautiful cut and a wagging tail! Most important, I felt, is they really seemed to care about my dog and took great care of her. more

Poor customer service 10/19/2005

I was very dissatisfied with the grooming services for my dog. In addition, their customer service is very poor. I recommend you take your pet elsewhere. Cons: Overpriced, Poor Customer Service more
