I have taken our two- year- old,long-haired Chihuahua here a couple of times. I've tried other places and they simply do not compare as far as quality of work. While I intially thought they were a little pricey, as the saying goes- ""you get what you pay for"". Dog grooming is a talent and an art. They have very talented groomers. They are kind to my dog, he always looks great, and that is what counts. I've been happy with their services and I won't take my dog anywhere else (discount or not). more

I have been taking my dogs to Grooming Your Way since 1990. I have never had any problems! The Staff is always friendly, the prices competitive, and my dogs well taken care of. more

Wheaten is now minus coat 10/6/2011

It had been four months since his last grooming-somewhere else-and when I brought in Cooper I just wanted a trim, nail clipping and tooth cleaning. I picked him up and the fur on his legs was gone, his body was scalped and he was jumpy from the trauma to his skin. I had to call a vet and was told to give him Benedryl until the sensitivity subsided. It is now two days later and he is still jumpy, I am out $91. When my husband called he was told the high fee was due to Cooper's matted hair-not true!- there was no need to go down to bare skin. It should have been obvious that a well taken care of Wheaten terrier did not need such drastic measures. I will tell my story and show my dog as an example of carelessness and possible greed on the part of the groomer. more

The bad reviews are old, and just plain WRONG 9/18/2011

I have brought my cockapoo here several times over the years and have never, ever had a bad experience or anything even remotely negative happen. Can't understand the negative reviews this place gets, or why they consistently show up first, erroneously turning many people off to this place, I'm sure. The people are respectful, my dog comes out looking gorgeous (with cute little bows in his fur or a scarf around his neck - very stylish,) and I've always felt the prices are more than fair for what you get compared to other places. Someone gets treated rudely by one lousy customer service person (and let's face it, these are dog people, not people-people), whines about it on-line, and this establishment forever has to be punished by it. (2008?!) The only ""bad"" thing I could say is that one time they finished later than they said. Big surprise... dog groomers aren't great at time-management. Sounds like ridesdeepsnow has a problem with tattoos more than anything else. The only thing ""seedy"" here is your review. TOTALLY untrue. more

Horrible staff, shifty pricing, surprised they are still in business 8/18/2008

Absolutely horrible staff, very rude and snotty to customers. They have no billing information for customers to see they just give quotes out of thin air and have heard of many people complaining the price was higher than originally quoted. Pros: on my way to work Cons: horrible staff, shifty pricing, very shady being cash only business, unorganized in every way more

A Nightmare!!! 6/12/2008

I made an appointment to bring my Shih Tzu, Lucy, in to be groomed after talking to the receptionist on the phone who told me it would cost $40 or less depending on her size and to bring her in by 9am and that she would be done between 1-2pm. I brought her in and asked if I could pick her up at 4pm because I have a baby who naps in the early afternoon and then a child who gets off the bus at 3:30pm. The girl said that would be fine and that they would just walk her around in the grass until I got there. I got there at 4:15pm with my 3 small children only to see Lucy still in a crate not even groomed yet. I told a woman there that I was here for Lucy and she was so rude and told me that they had my phone numbers and would call when she was done. She said the receptionist never should have told me anything and that there was one more dog before Lucy. I then took my daughter to get her haircut and returned an hour later just to check and the same rude woman told me not to come back again until they called me. Lucy was still in the crate untouched. I should have taken her and walked out at that point but I really wanted her groomed and every other place was booked for weeks. I then took my 3 kids to a store until they called me at 7:10pm to say she was done. I then get there and she barely looks any different and they charge me $50.10. I was fuming! I didn't leave a tip which I've never done and will never go back there and will tell everyone I know how rude and horrible they are. Cons: rude staff, inefficient more
