Though I have been in this office before and have seen both Dr Rabin and Dr Greenberg, I too accepted the first available appointment to see Dr Wood.\r Absolutely the worst decision I could have made.\r Pretty sure she's convinced she's Dr god in the world of dermatology.\r EXTREMELY RUDE. Her mannerisms left me in shock and disbelief. \r To refer to her as arrogant would be a severe understatement.\r Do not go to see Dr Wood. See anyone else... even if that means you must leave Kingwood. If you really do have something that needs to be seen, you will be far better off. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Wood's for years and years and I absolutely love her. The care I get from her and her staff is caring, concerned, committed and top notch. I don't even recognize the person these other reviewers are describing and can't imagine how they were left with such an impression. Dr. Wood is a professional and does her job in a compassionate way without wasting my time. I can wholeheartedly recommend her. The Kingwood office also has a top notch anesthetician, Whitney, who has expertly eliminated the age spots on my hands with laser treatments. My hands no longer give away my age! What a terrific result! more

This office is the WORST I ever visited. The staff is RUDE but it's top down. Dr. Wood is rude, mean, condescending and impatient and could care less about you or your medical condition. With them it's all about the $$. Don't waste your time even calling IF you can ever get through to them, since they NEVER answer their phones. My experience bordered on malpractice and violations of the Medical Practice Act. DONT GO THERE and REPORT ABUSIVE DOCTORS to the TX MEDICAL BOARD. more

Dont go here. I ve been 3 times bc of convenience but no more. Dr is abrupt and late. Schedules 4 patients at a time and then has a sign that says if your more than 5 minutes late your appt may be cancelled. I spent 1 hour waiting this time bf leaving. Never going back no matter how convenient. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 8/15/2012

I have been worried about a spot on my face that kept changing so in May, I made an appointment for the first available time which turned out to be late August. However, in early August I went to visit my family in Dallas and my sister suggested that I make an appointment with her detmatologist. I was seen the following day. He took a biopsy of the suspicious area and lab results confirmed that I have basal cell skin cancer which will need to be removed. \r \r So, I've had no real contact with this doctor or any of her colleagues other than speaking with a not-so-friendly person who answers the phone to schedule and cancel appointments. My conclusion: A doctor who waits this long to see patients isn't worth the wait. If you are searching for a dermatologist in the Kingwood area, keep looking. This kind of non-service is just not good practice. Dr. Wood, et. al: Just who do you think you are? (I should have read the reviews before calling, anyway!) more

I only wish I would have read the online reviews for this dermatology group as the bad reviews are absolutely spot on. The office staff and nurses are unfriendly. Dr. Wood did not take the time to discuss my treatment with me and I did not get the desired results I was seeking from my dermatogist. I did sent her an email with feedback on my office visit and she responded by telling me she would let her office staff know I may be transferring my records to another doctor. There are too many warm, caring doctors in the Houston area! more

Dr. Amy Wood is caring and competent... 11/30/2011

I have been a patient of Dr. Amy Wood for several years. She is the first dermatologist I have been to that actually has the time of day for me. I can't speak for the other doctors in the practice (Rabin-Greenberg dermatology) but Dr. Wood genuinely cares. I have battled with adult cystic/stress related acne and I am a picker. Dr. Wood has approached my treatment from all sides including diet and psych services. Most derms are trying to push expensive cosmetic treatments, over-priced products, lasers etc. Dr. Wood has actually talked me out of spending money because she knew they wouldn't address the problem or yield the results I was looking for. My well-being was more important that the money she stood to gain from needless products and services. Dr. Wood is caring and competent and I would recommend her to anyone in the med center looking for a great dermatologist! more

Worst Patient Care Ever!! 11/15/2011

I would NOT recommend this office to ANYONE!! The patient care that I received was the worst that I have ever gotten. I've seen Dr. Greenburg twice and each time was horrible. (I went a second time giving her a chance to redeem her behavior) She seems to ALWAYS be in a hurry, did not even let me discuss why I was there. Would not even consider doing the bloodwork that I suggested. Then wanted to treat without even giving me a diagnosis!! I left their office absolutely dissappointed!! I think she has forgotten the reason she took a oath in medicine, it was to treat the patient NOT boost her ego!! more

Disappointing front office 2/23/2011

I had an appointment today at (what I thought was) 3:00pm. I came in a huge hurry from downtown and I was 15 minutes late. (I know, shame on me) It turns out that they had my appt for 2:45, so that put me at 30 minutes late. The very rude and unhelpful lady at the window immediately said that I needed to reschedule. She did not even attempt to work me in or ask if I would be willing to see a different doctor. Even if they really were too busy, she was rude and very put out by my tardiness. I was stunned so I left in disappointment and won’t be rescheduling with their office. Thanks for ‘nuthin’. more

Waited about 50 minutes before I saw Dr. Greenberg. She spent about 2 minutes with me, and all the while, she seemed to want to go somewhere else. My many questions and concerns appeared to annoy her. When she thought I was asking her to remove a cyst for me right then and there (which I was NOT), she actually said, ""I don't have time for that. I was told you were here to see me about rashes and acne only."" Staff wasn't friendly either, but not as bad as the doctor. Phones are off during lunch hours of 12:15 - 1:45 p.m. But when I call at 2:15 p.m., phones are still off, and I still get the ""office closed"" message. more

Doctors treat you like an Assembly Line 8/10/2010

I have had many appointments with them and they are all the same. The doctors are in the room for 2 minutes or less and I've had some questions and they even tell me. ""wait I'll be right back"" but thats not true. I've even thought of bringing a stop watch to time them. They send the esthethcian to continue the appt every time to talk you into products you might not need. I'm so sick of this and Im willing to drive further to get the service I pay for. The doctors fly out the door to get to the next patient and this is unacceptable! Dont go to this office! Ive been to other dermatologists in other states and I've never been treated like a fast food customer like in this office! more

Zero Customer Service 6/2/2010

Sharon needs to retire, or whatever the main receptionist's name is. She does NOT need to be on the front line for any kind of customer service or customer contact. The practice is strong so they must not have to worry about the customer's opinion. They should be reminded: Their patients are the reason they get a paycheck. Sure would dress up that office if they showed some care and concern once in a while, beginning with the very first person who greets the customer. The drs need to spend at least 5 mins with the patient and act like they care about the person they are seeing. Before leaving, ask if they have any questions. Then LISTEN, before flying out the door. Pros: Good drs Cons: Uncaring staff, Quantity wins over Quality more

horrible staff manners not polite! Very disappointed! 12/4/2008

never ever been to a doctors office with no care for patients what so ever!! very disappointed!! They honestly are all about money (most offices are but, at least you get some care and help and even kindness from other offices). I waited 3 weeks it get in and it wasn't worth it to even walk in there with there attitudes. Even the doctor didnt care which was very hurtful!!! DOCTOR GREENBERGS OFFICE NOT RECOMMENDED!! Pros: no pros Cons: service more

Rude receptionist 8/8/2008

I had a procedure done at the Houston location a year and a half ago by Dr. Greenberg. I remember the efficiency and no wait time. She did take the time to take care of me, which was good b/c I am a 30 year old female who turned out to have skin cancer! I wished to have a check up, so I caled today to make an appointment and was informed by the uncaring, flat-affective receptionist that her first appointment would be over two months from now. The receptionist could care less about the customer; therefore, I will never go back. Despite the fact that I liked the doctor, I will not support services that employe rude, unprofessional and uncaring people. I also will not support services that require patients to wait a minimum of two months. Pros: Good doctor Cons: 2 month wait for appt. and uncaring receptionist more

Extra-ordinarily respectful of my time 4/3/2008

I brought a book for the wait but was unable to even open it because I was seen so fast; both in the waiting room and after the nurse took my info in the exam room.\r \r Amy Wood's exam was short sweet and to the point. Asked if I had any known issues, did her exam, asked if I had any questions and told me to come back in a year.\r \r It's so rare to have a doctor respect my time. Very refreshing. Pros: Respectful of my time Cons: not a thing more

NOT RECOMMENDED 11/28/2007

The attitudes in this office are reason enough to give them 1 star. When I call the office, they are so quick to get me off the phone like my business doesn't matter. They rush you about everything. The person who makes appointments act like she doesn't have time enough in the day for you, yet the biggest part of her job is to make time for the caller... Don't hang up hastily because I made an appointment & it was your job to fill it! In addition, I have had the doctor rush me out before like I was an inconvenience. I do not ask alot of questions. I always go for only one thing - - To get my acne prescription filled. Well, one day I had a question. Before the doctor rushed out the door, I asked: ""Wait, I wanted to know what you think of using Proactiv."" She said: ""Anything with salicyic acid. That's great. Bye!"" And ran out the door because there must have been someone more important. \r \r Obviously the rushing and rudeness is their own fault. This office does NOT know how to schedule appointments. They will stack 10 people in one time slot, so expect a LONGGG wait to finally get in. In addition, I have found that when leaving the office, the girls behind the counter are so into their own personal conversations, that they will not mind the customer a bit of attention - (other than snatching your money from you).\r \r I do not reccommend this dermatologist and I'm currently in the process of finding a new one to go to.\r \r Thanks\r Pros: They know dermatoloy Cons: Rude, hasty, LONG WAIT TIME more

Dr. Cindy Greenberg 1/26/2006

I have been going to Dr. Greenberg since I was 16 to help get rid of my linear epidermal nevus...even when my insurance wouldnt cover it because her staff and herself alike are all kind and want what is best for you. more
