Great Ohio Mortgage was Super!!! 5/12/2010

Great and Super Job, everything went as planned with a great rate of 4.5%.\r After 17 closing in our lifetime and knowing all that can go wrong Cody jumped through hoops to close us on our time needs. The reason it went smooth = what we said, was what we are, no hidden surprises for Cody to work out. more

Greater Ohio Mortgage is TERRIBLE!!!!! 7/13/2009

we were supposed to close, and days before our lender from Greater Ohio, JB Miller, went MIA. JB would not respond to our emails (that go to his blackberry), phone calls (employees would lie and say he was there when he really was) or faxes, and we were unable to close. We tried to set up another date to close, and then found out that the loan was not even in underwriting. We almost lost the house because he wasn't even communicating with the Realtors, or the title company. Our service was so terrible that the sellers requested that we find a new lender or lose the house. The only response that we received was good luck. Needless to say we signed with someone else. We thought it was over, but JB ignored our new lenders requests for the appraisal, and only turned it over once he was told that he was being reported to HUD. And just yesterday we were informed that our credit was run numerous times at various banks without our knowledge or consent. Unprofessional, unreliable , un more

Stay away from these Liars!! 5/2/2009

WARNING!!  July of 2008 JB Miller ran a credit check for a refinance with cash out on our home and he said we were approved. We began the remodel believing we would close in 60 days. So we ordered the materials from a local lumber company and had 60 days to pay for these materials. Well needless to say it's May of 2009 and we now have a lien and a judgement was just filed last week against us because we still owe on the materials. Our credit is at risk now and I spoke with JB this week and he STILL insist that the loan will close next week. I spoke with the lender and TODAY they don't even have an apprasial in hand which JB  has  had 2 done ???? WHY is this happening?? Let me hear from you if you have not written your review PLEASE DO SO. I HAVE CONTACTED MY LAWYER AND filing a complaint with 6 ON YOUR SIDE. I WANT THIS TO STOP!! more

Liars, crooks, shisters. 1/26/2009

We were working with a couple that were buying a lot from us. This deal started in June 2008. As of Jan 1, 2009, nothing has ever been done and no answers have been given, not even a phone call to tell us yes or no. We have been told from day 1 there was no problem getting them financed. Then all of sudden we were told we would be closing on a Friday in September and that Friday never seemed to come. They will not return phone calls and the others in the office will lie and say J.B Miller is not in the office when he really is. I know. I have called from the parking lot and I seen him in his office. more

When it comes to being resourceful and knowledgable, Brian Heins is the "go to guy" at Greater Ohio Mortgage! I have had the opportunity of working with him and refinancing our home, and Brian has always been the most customer service oriented, well-versed professional I have worked with. His follow through is great and he truly takes the time to find the best loan for each individual circumstance. In an industry that does not always have the customer's best interest at heart, he is a rarity. Would highly recommend him and this company. more

Great Job!! 1/7/2009

If it wasn't for the guys at Greater Ohio Mortgage, we would have lost our house. We refinanced and were in trouble with our credit. JD Miller and Brian helped us get our credit restored enough to get our loan closed. We are very pleased with the process. It took a long time to finish with them, but after about 2 months, our loan was done!! more

This company is bad! JB Miller, in particular, who is a liar and was fired from Mc Clendon Mortgage company in Zanesville for his shady dealings. He does not return phone calls, will paint any picture in you favor, and then completely ignores you. Please, check around and if at all possible, stay away from JB Miller @ Greater Ohio Mortgage Company in Zanesville, Ohio. more

Bad Company 4/14/2008

This company lies an lies BAD well first off we will pay your appraisal.. then we will close on monday well the appraisal guy calls an says this is whats holding the closing date up so i pay it sence JB Miller said he would pay it an never did then i go in to the office an they say the closing will be wed. NOPE wasent then ither then they say friday nope not then ither also they said get your electric gas insurance water on so we did an payed deposits well now im paying bills for a house i dont own.. \r \r POOR COMPANY dont recommend more
