I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, which had a good flavor, but were far from fluffly (actually on the gluey side). There was no maple syrrup--instead, the pancakes came with a plate of commercially wraped mini-tubs of the fake stuff. The side of ham was literally deli-sliced lunchmeat heated up on the grill. The menu is big, but don't try to veer off-course. If you want an item on the prix fixe menu but you don't want the extras, you're out of luck. The large dinging area is on the loud side. Still, if you're not picky and you want a no-frills big breakfast, Gracie Mews gets the job done. The service was fast, the portions were huge, and the server was friendly. As for me, I won't be coming back--I like my food to taste great.
Pros: fast service, huge portions
Cons: gluey pancakes, no real maple syrrup, low-quality breakfast meat
