Judy, Judy Judy, please don't encourage gouging by telling people this place is good! Don't get me wrong. I am LA-ZY. I would love to just roll around the corner to Gracefully and not have to walk an extra 4 blocks to Commodities, but I just cant bring myself to do it. Why, you ask? Because I just did an item by item price comparison. One bar of Green & Black's Organic Milk chocolate: $2.39 at the deli across the street. $2.69 at Commodities, another pricey organic market, but one with integrity at least. $4.99 at Gracefully. And their prices on all 50 items I checked were 20%-50% higher than all markets in the neighborhood. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THAT, you ask? Because we LET them and encourage them by going there, that's why. Please, advise people to frequent stores that actually care about organics and charge more because of the content, not because they can dupe lazy gourmands like me into paying double the price.
