Amazingly poor and incompetent service. 1/16/2013

I ordered a bed from Gothic at Halloween and was promised delivery in 3 weeks. After multiple calls they finally set a delivery date in six weeks later in mid-December. I gathered some friends to help me unload the shipment, then sent them home when the wrong furniture was delivered. It took me several days to get Gothic to respond at which point they promised to send out a shipper to deliver my correct order and pick up the mistaken delivery. This was supposed to happen the first week of January. They never showed. After several angry calls, they were supposed to come the following week. Again, they never showed. This happened four more times and I haven’t seen my order yet. I’ve had to take several days off work in order to be home just so I could get stood up. Gothic has repeatedly lied to me and made promises they’ve never honored – three months after ordering my bed I’m still waiting for it to be delivered! Gothic doesn’t seem to care, so I’ve reversed the charges on my Visa and I’m shopping elsewhere. Avoid this incompetent and dishonest organization at all costs. more

The price was good and the service was outstanding 3/30/2011

I bought a bedroom set from Gothic a few months ago and I'm very pleased with it. I had it finished in red oak and it looks and feels wonderful. The price was good and the service was outstanding. I highly recommended for those smart souls who go for something practical and that would stand up to passing trends. more

Gothic has a very decent selection of furniture 3/28/2011

I'll admit it. When I first saw Gothic Cabinet Craft, I had to do a double take. I kept picturing dark, black, brooding furniture but what I was seeing was conservative pieces of well made wooden furniture. I finally decided to visit Gothic after peering over the website. It looked like it was worth checking out. You name it, they got it. You can pretty much furnish your apartment here. From desks to tables, from barstools to couches, mattresses and bunk beds to entertainment centers and bookcases. In every type of wood and varnish, style and price point, Gothic has a very fair and decent selection of furniture. more

Really great quality stuff 3/24/2011

Really helpful sales people, and all of my furniture was delivered in 2 weeks. A team of delivery men came and assembled everything in about 10 minutes. Really great quality stuff, for not that much more than Ikea. more

The bed is gorgeous! 3/21/2011

We bought a really nice platform bed with storage drawers underneath for our son. The bed is made of plywood with a birch veneer over it. It's quite sturdy and if you don't want it stained the price is very reasonable. Staining it costs over a hundred dollars. But the bed is gorgeous and he's very happy with it. I would definitely shop there again. more

I'm thrilled with the quality of the furniture 3/17/2011

I walked in to this location after finding a table at the Murray Hill location that I liked. I found the same table, but they weren't able to deliver for about 1 week at a fee of $35. I explained that I could pick up as I lived around the block. The nice young guy that worked there agreed to sell me the floor model for 10% off and he would carry it to my apartment immediately. And so he did! I'm thrilled with the quality of the furniture, but mostly for the customer service. I would come back and highly recommend for their service. more

5 minutes in Gothic Cabinet we found what we were looking for 3/11/2011

so, we have been on a mission for an armoire. a piece of furniture that is actually made of rel wood, not MDF and is less than a grand is a rare gem these days. we search high and low (like 3 other stores, i am dramatic). within 5 minutes of entering Gothic Cabinet, we found the missing puzzle piece. our new armoire. yay. hanging space and drawers. real wood! the gentleman was nice and willing to knock a few bucks off the price. delivery was only 35 bucks even when we added a second piece of furniture. more

I love their stuff! My only suggestion would be to keep all of your receipts. Once I wanted to order another piece to match what I already had. Sadly they dont keep the records and I for sure didnt remember what color the finish was. more

Will contact Gothic for another custom made project 3/7/2011

My experience with Gothic's custom made furniture service was simply outstanding in all respects from beginning to end. Vagelis, a representative from Gothic, personally traveled to my house, discussed my specifications for a custom made piece, negotiated a mutually agreeable price, and took all the requisite measurements for my project. Vagelis remained in contact with me throughout the entire fabrication process and sent images of the furniture piece I ordered as it was in the workshop. I highly recommend to any prospective customer that if he/she has a particular vision for a furniture piece they would like to create work with Gothic to make it a reality. Once finances permit, I will definitely contact Gothic for another custom made project in the future. Thanks more

LOVE THIS STORE! i bought furniture for my verrrrrry small apartment. they have great storage ideas eg. the 12 drawer storage bed i bought. i also loved the fact that i got to choose what color stain i wanted on my bed. everything came out gorgeous. LOVES IT. more

I have dealt with Gothic many times and I have always been very satisfied. Their furniture is great sturdy wood. You pick your style then pick the finish. Each piece is made to order. Once they sent me the wrong finish and they took it back without complaint and exchanged it. more

I needed a bed, I needed it fast and I didn't have a lot of $$. I'd seen ads for GCC and as it was so close to me, I headed over. They were so nice and hooked me right up with a great bed & mattress at a price I could afford. They delivered on time, set up the bed & mattress and took the packaging with them. I'm a happy sleeper now. more

Gothic Cabinet sell alot of cabinets and furniture for the home. They can custom make cabinets to fit any size you need. They have really good pricing too. more
