I have been told by olde-tyme Ballardians, they refer to my neighborhood as "snooze junction," so no angry comments please.
It has been a while since I dined at Gorditos Too and they may even be open only seasonally, but as I recall it was delicioso. You can't miss the place: large white tent on west side of 15th just as you are approaching Ballard Bridge, city-bound. I remember liking the crispy al pastor tacos.
A frustrated diner (can never find them open) posted the health department report on his blog here http://www.lostacotrucks.com/seattle/2005/07/gorditos-too-is-never-open.html. It does not look good (not fatal either)...but that's the deal with a roach coach, right?
The PI did a round up such taco meccas a couple years back here http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/food/134108_taco_trucks.html
Your turn: please share about the Bellevue spot.
