I’ve never purchased anything from Goodson Acura up until now. I’ve been missing out on such an awesome dealership. I could have saved a bunch of money going here for my first car! Overall, my first visit was beyond my expectations. I couldn’t even remember how many cars I’ve test-driven. Luckily, Kevin Patterson was patience enough to put up with me. I felt like a reporter flooding him with all those complicated questions yet he answered most of them clearly and professionally. I really like the guy! I am very happy with the service and the car I got from Goodson Acura. I was visiting the dfw area from Little Rock, AR. I wasn’t originally looking for a new car but I happen to be driving through Irving and past this dealership when a few of their car caught my eye. So needless to say I had to stop in and check out their deals and obviously they gave me one that I just could turn down. I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful Acura TL. I feel this is going to be a great car for years to come and hope to back in the area so I can stop through and say hi to my new friends at Goodson! more

Do NOT go to Goodson Acura 6/21/2010

Recently bought a certified used Acura from Lance Clemons at Goodson Acura. The actual sales transaction went fairly smooth but feel cheated after less than two months. He led me to believe that all of the servicing was up to date and that all the necessary services had been recently completed and that they were going to even double check before I picked the car up from them later that week. However, less than two months later there are over $300 in necessary repairs that need to be completed. Routine things such as changing the filters and flushing the power steering fluid. When i contacted him to explain how I felt he had misled me he basically told me that it was my problem now. DO NOT GO TO GOODSON ACURA AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT SEE LANCE!!!!! more

AWEFUL! 7/16/2009

I had a terrible experience with your company. I will NEVER have you service my vehicle ever again. The staff was rude and unaccommodating. My car was finished 3 weeks after it was slated to be ready due to employee mistakes which were never accounted for and because of this I had to cancel a planned vacation/project in California which I was supposed to drive to. They blamed me for a mis-communication between two of their employees of which I was not at fault. They never even apologized. This service is deplorable. more

Bad Experience! 12/3/2006

This is not the place to buy your car! They not only lied to us but acted like they were doing us a favor for selling the new MDX. After 4 trips to the dealer they did not make the promised time for finding the vehicle and did not want to pay back our deposit. Moreover we found out later that they are charging over 3 grand the actual MSRP by lying to us. We ending up buying the MDX with the options we wanted from another dealer for $49500 which was $3000 less than goodsons price. When we told them that another acura dealer has the car with the color and options we want and with the price difference of $3000, they became very rude and called the other delearship to buy the same car from them and to offer us the same car for $3000 more. When we said no, the manager totally misbehaved and even asked us to return the free water bottle that every dealership offers to people. It became really ugly but luckly we were able to get our deposit back from them. They will try hard to sell you someting that you don't want and over mark the price by few grand. Save your money and do your shopping elsewhere were people atleast care about your business and don't treat you as they are doing you a favor. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, I will report the manager's behavior to Acura Customer care. We bought our MDX from the Acura dealer in Houston called the Sterling Macoy with exceptional care and attention received from Mr. Khan. They even covered our cost to go over there and drive back with the new MDX the same evening. Thank you Mr. Khan for taking care of us! more

friendly service 12/31/2005

So I was there to buy a car quite a few years ago, they would not go down on the price. I had the dealer price with me, and they were somehow surprised that I had the price, but still would not budge on the price, so I left. I bought my car at another Acura dealership, but I went to Goodson for service because it was close to work and it was convenient. They had a top notch service team. They always cleaned your car for you after the service. They never questioned you or wanted you to pay more for stuff. I truly trusted them and had been going to them until I changed jobs. Highly recommended for their service, but not for car buying. more

Great Place To Buy Car!! 9/23/2005

Goodson Acura in Irving is a great place to buy a car. My husband and I looked at several other Acura dealerships in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. We new what we wanted but only Goodson Acura was willing to make the deal we wanted. They had knowledgeable and friendly sales staff. The service center is great. They have always been very accommodating when we have had to have the car worked on. And that was only for a minor recall and normal maintenance on the car. I Love My Acura and would go back to buy another from Goodson Acura. more

mediocre dealership 8/21/2005

This place is the average car dealership for those who want an Acura. It's got a moderately large lot, so you're likely to find exactly what you want, and the sales staff is fairly knowledgeable in what the deal has in stock, and knows about the Acura line of cars. They are only somewhat friendly with consumers, and you may feel a sense of urgency from them about buying the optional features. You can still buy a car from here and feel like nothing's lost, but you might be better off going somewhere else. It's a bit far for those in Garland, too. more
