Hard to watch your calories when you order a pizza from Goodfellas! I have only gotten take-out, and am always greeted by name when I walk in the door. The staff is very friendly...

Worst

OK, their pizza is good... not bad at all, but what sucks is that they won't take credit cards for anything under $10. They need to catch up with the 21st century and get a clue....

Great Pizzas 5/29/2011

Hard to watch your calories when you order a pizza from Goodfellas! I have only gotten take-out, and am always greeted by name when I walk in the door. The staff is very friendly, there may be a long wait but the wait is definately worth it! I've watched them make the pies and, unlike most places, they do NOTskimp on cheese, which is honestly what make the pizza. Toppings are the right amount and pies are cooked perfectly. more

Was Ignored and never seated? 11-5-10 6pm 11/7/2010

Was ignored when I went into this place Friday Nov 5 2010 6pm. There was a wait, no problem, it was me and my 8 yr old daughter ready to enjoy some good NY Italian food, left my name at desk and sat down to wait 20 mins, 45 mins later I went up to the desk and saw that my name was crossed off? and about 6 people that came in after me were also seated and crossed off? I pointed this out to the young lady working, I told here we were never seated? yet I am crossed off? for 40 mins she looked right at us?she all but ignored me? instead of causing a scene my daughter and I walked out...They should be ashamed to treat customers like that ...I would not recommend this place any longer and I will make sure everyone I know learns of this incredibly embarassing situation..The pizza is good but not good enough to treat people like this...! more

Hands Down!! It's The Best Around!!! 1/10/2009

First and foremost I want to address all the Haters that are out there! Don't get upset at the customer service that you receive, obviously it must be a little bit of fault of your own. Respect is Earned, not Demanded! So next time your there or call there, show the host or hostess a little more respect and they will return it. I always get treated with respect and exceptional service when I eat in or dine out. Pros: Extremely Good Food and Service Cons: Home delivery is cash only. Set up credit card accounts for your Regular Home deliveries as a start. more

Great Pizza and Philly cheese steak 1/2/2009

They have the best pizza in the area and when it's delivered it hot and fresh. I love their Philly Cheese Steak, just ordered one for delivery. Very friendly service as soon as you walk thru the door. The only negative aspect of this place is the guy who always seems to answer the phone; he's rude and arrogant but, don't let that stop you from ordering or visiting. Worst Management I have ever seen in any establishment 11/3/2008

I admit this place has excellent food. No complaints there. The complaints are from the people answering the phones that lack customer service skills and professionalism. If you should receive your order wrong they are more than rude. Never before have I seen a business tell the customer, well it must have been your fault. Nor have I heard them tell the customer to take their business elsewhere. Jordan, you really need to learn some people skills, keep in mind these customers that appear to bother you so much, pay your salary, without them you would be unemployed and the restaurant would be another casuality of todays hard times. NY Pizza in Orlando 7/31/2008

I had to make sure fellow NY'ers know that you can get a great pie at this location. I found some pies that were close but this was the one that filled the void. Garlic Knots are good also, make sure to tip the BOYS. We also ate at the place and enjoyed the food and the service. Definitely must make this one of your favorites. more

Simply the best Pizza in Orlando! 5/24/2008

It's our Friday night ritual; a large with extra cheese, a large Greek salad, and a large order of Garlic knots. It's as close to NY as you can get without jumping on a plane and heading to the big apple. We also love the entrees and the hot subs. The service is great and the staff is always friendly. Even when I wear my Miami Hurricanes shirt to pick up my order. Pros: Great Pie, great location, fast and friendly service... Cons: Not one... more

BETTER THAN NEW YORK 2/16/2008

Goodfellas pizza is the best pizza i have tasted in Orlando and most of New York for that matter. I grew up in Queens and ate pizza almost every day. I came to Orlando and like many New Yorkers, had trouble finding good pizza. I moved close to Goodfellas and the rest is history. I went up to New York in January, looking foward to eating some of my old favorites and to my suprise Goodfellas tasted better than 90% of them. Needless to say, I have to find a different excuse to go to New York now because, the pizza at Goodfellas is One Of the Best. Pros: food is great especially the pizza and garlic knots Cons: gets very croweded more

i have to admit great pizza,just like being home in jersey,i have a couple of complaints the food is great but the people who answer the phones are a little rude and how do you expect me to get your food delivered to my house if you dont except credit cards?i really would like to have goodfellas bring me a pizza but without taking my credit card that makes me order from other places.not always i have cash in the pocket..there are other pizza places in the area that have good pizza but i prefer goodfellas so until you except credit cards i take my business to the pizza shops who want my business!!...if you really wanted more buisness and want more business you would do so..i am a business owner myself and have high standards of customer service..other than this little beef ..goodfellas has the best tasting pizza around..hopefully you can get the credit thing fixed and i will start ording from you guys more..right now vitos has my buisness and there pie has a good new york taste also... more

Best NY-Style Pizza in Orlando! 10/30/2007

Goodfella's has BY FAR the best tasting, most authentic NY-style pizza in Orlando. I was raised in NYC as well as in some of the surrounding burbs and I was raised on great Pizza! I moved to Orlando in 2002 and have had a tough time finding a good slice of life. Downtown pizzerias are a joke. They are expensive, use nasty ingredients, and charge $4 a slice to all the drunk bar hoppers. Some of the suburb pizzerias are okay, but their dough just tastes weird and they use strong-seasoned marinara sauce. Goodfella's uses a light pomodoro sauce, real cheese, and their dough tastes great and is baked just right. Plus, you can't beat their lunch special: $5.95 for two slices and a good-sized salad. Mmmm. Pros: The best pizza in Orlando Cons: They need to franchise around town! more

Best Pizza In Orlando, Hands down 1/23/2007

Goodfellas has it all, the atmosphere, the poeple, the food, and especially the pizza. I have been dining at goodfellas for 5 years now, at least 3-4 times a month. The owner is a great person who has a high regard for quaility food and staff. Many of the employees have been there for years keep the food consistent and the customers happy over and over. The pizza is always my top choice, then the calamari( always tender and and sweet). As for the food, its just great, the pasta sauce is perfect, pasta always aldente. Try the eggplant parm or the chicken romano. Chef salad is a great start, oh and dont pass up the garlic knots, simply excellent. My one complaint, is that I cant come in a just sit down like I used to, but its for a good reason, after they expanded business blew up in a good way. Expect a short wait on the weekend, but its well worth it. more

Pizza (dining in) 9/19/2005

Just by chance, I happened to walk into this great place when it was just what I considered a treasured ""hole in the wall"" for lunch one day. The pizza (when ordered by the slice) is great. Fresh ingredients added to the the slightly prepared pizza and baked for a few minutes practically brought me to my knees (don't forget to ask for fresh garlic). I do not, however, recommend take out. It's not prepared the same. So, in my opinion, if you want a great pizza experience, order a slice or two. You will not be sorry. more

I moved down to Orlando in Sept 04 and had been searching for good pizza and Italian food ever since. I stumbled upon Goodfellas and the search has ended.... Everything I have had there is great, Pizza is crisp, good sauce, Calzones, Pizza steaks, Ziti and the list goes on... Chicken parm in their Lasagna... You have to try that.. more
