I "discovered" Good back when it was called Campo. The owner changed the name because he felt Good was a better description of his restaurant. After eating here, I think he could have called it Great !!
We go for brunch and have never been disappointed. There is a "south of the border" hint to the spices and flavors but the bite is never too strong - plenty of flavor, not too much heat. At brunch, they have a "fresh squeezed juice of the day". They cover all the bases on eggs, bacon and ham plus they usually have a killer special. Their coffee is first rate. Their breads are especially good and their service is attentive without being fussy.
I like their pancakes and French toast, served with real maple syrup and butter.
The not-so-secret treat here is the Mexican hot chocolate (Mmmmmm!) ordered with a side of hot, fresh orange donuts. Oh baby!
This is one of the best brunch places in NYC - that just about says it all.
