I made my appointment almost 2 weeks in advance and confirmed not once, but twice that they had received the referral form. On the day of the appointment I had my PCP's office fax over the x-ray report. When I arrived at Dr. Gonzalez office 30 minutes prior to my appointment the ""front desk receptionist"" ask me for my referral. I informed her that I had confirmed that the referral was received with whoever works the ""appointment/medical records"" section over a week ago. The ""front desk receptionist"" response was ""I don't have it. I only work up here, I don't know what happens in the back."" Gosh, what kind of team work is that? You wipe your hands and come across like it isn't your job. Where is the patient satisfaction? I had to call my PCP's office and request that they re-fax the referral after they had confirmation that it was faxed. And, needless to say, had the x-ray dept. re-fax the x-ray report as well as they informed me that wasn't received either. And, then when I asked for that person that worked the ""appointment/medical records"" section, to no surprise the receptionist informs me she isn't in. It seems that they need a good ""office manager.""
