I was thirsty one night, so I stopped into the establishment to get myself a brew. When I walked in, there was a Rock Band video game set up. Tristen (the fellah who's in charge) told me to pick up a guitar. After playing it once, that was it... I was hooked! \r \r It didn't matter if I was a beginning strummer or a master shredder, all I wanted to do was go back and play with the band! And since there were 4 instruments to choose from, the rotation went by faster, which meant more chances to play a song or ten.\r \r I highly recommend this spot over any location in Seattle. The atmosphere is great. The people are fantastic. The beer was cold. What more can you ask for a Tuesday night?? Pros: Rock Out with a beer in hand! Cons: Cramped fingers and hoarse voices more

At first, stopping in on a Friday night, I found that Friday's are very busy for karaoke. The business is booming, and as a result, you may have the opportunity to sing only one song. Yet James, the KDJ keeps things moving rather quickly. Now, Saturdays, on the other hand...oh, my gawd!. Darby, the KDJ, is the BEST! For one thing...she has the most awesome voice, singing complex songs with such precision and clarity! Also, when others are one the boards, she makes the extra effort to listen to the singer, and tweaks the system to maximize the sound quality and experience for the singer and audience!. Surprisingly, although you have one of the city's BEST KDJ's here, the crowd is sparse, and therefore, singing opportunities abound...myself having had nights of 10-12 of my songs settling across the crowd. This is a karaoke enthusiasts dream! (If you are looking for a bar filled with a bunch of drunken, off-key, and disrespectful singers...then Goldie's on Airport Way is not your place.) Oh, and the staff is super friendly and helpful...and the coffee is terrific! Pros: A Karaoke Paradise! Great service and Coffee! Cons: Saturday Nights need more patronage! more
