Alan Greeley, owner of Costa Mesa's best kept secret, is unquestionably Orange County's finest home-grown chef and delightful host. An extensive, value-laden of modestly marked up wines is a precursor to an eclectic menu that ranges from mac n' cheese (with or without truflles), to a constantly changing list of specials including last evening's pomano and miyogi steak. Try the red-hot duck tacos or fresh oysters as an appetizer. Close with a range of desert wines and simple but good deserts.
Pros: Changing menu, Extensive wine list, Service
Cons: Early closing, Occasional parking
