In August, we bought a home that was built by Golden Design Group in 2002. Yesterday at about 4 pm, I noticed that the fan in our basement stopped working (which I thought was for Radon mitigation - turns out it was for keeping the subbasement dry) , so I called GDG's corp office to see who I should call to get it repaired. I spoke to the superintendent, who was very helpful and said he would send someone out to take a look at it within the next couple of days (I figured after Christmas). The NEXT MORNING, less than 24 hours after my call, a gentleman from GDG was at our door, went into the basement and fixed it - in 5 minutes. He even stopped by a couple hours later with recommendations for who to use for finishing our basement. I couldn't be more delighted. They are head and shoulders above Richmond American's customer service (or lack thereof!).
