Tuesday's is pizza night for my family. My daughter has a gymnastic class at Little gym on Ashworth. Right across the street is Pizza Hut, Godfathers and Chinese resturants. We always choose Godfathers because of the friendly service and GREAT TACO Pizza always loaded with chips. Yum...
On May 1st around 645pm I went in like always after my daughter's class. I order the Big Cookie deal, but instead of the cookie I subsituted the cheesy sticks. My wife called me as I was walking in and really wanted the cookie as desert. I asked the young lady if there was a coupon I can use to help with the cost since I only had 28.60 on me. She told me no. The cook in the back stated no big deal I will just give it to you since you already order it. She said wait I need to confirm with my manager. While she was in the back getting the manager, I looked around the store and it clearly states half order for $2.80. (Remember I had to look for it she DID NOT SUGGEST it to me). In this kind of business I know workers are trained to upsell or suggestive sell. When the manager David came to front after 5mins,(remember this is a carry out order so my food is sitting on the counter.) David said to me ""Hi ,how may I help you."" Like she did not tell him what was already going on. I explained that I placed a carry out order but my wife wanted to try the cookie and I am short $.90. IS THERE A COUPON I can use to still get my original order. Or can I just get a half order,he said""no and half orders are only on breadsticks"". My stomach dropped, and I was hurt. I said can you do anyhting so i get the cheesy stick for the 28.65. He said""NO""! Remember my order is still on the counter. So I looked into my daughter eyes who wanted the cheesy sticks because that is all she eats. I said ok do the 3 breadsticks. he charged me $2.97 and made me wait another 10mins for them to cook. So my pizza sat there 30min in total.
I get home and to my amazement my Taco pizaa had half the chips on it. I was pretty mad at this point, so I called David . I told him who I was and what my pizza looked liked and offered to send him a picture of it. He said ok please do ....which i felt was rude anyway because if a customer calls back with a complaint ""Most managers make it right "" on the spot. ..DAVID BEGAN TO RAISE HIS VOICE, stating he can't get a word in. Isnt he suppose to listen to me? It has been 45min now and my family still hasn't eaten, I can vent my pizza was made like crap! I asked for his Gen manager name ,which he said was Nate and he will be in on MAY 2nd. 2012 Sarcasticly. And then David said ""I was going to do something for you and now I am not and HUNG UP! What Customer Service by a manager. You suck DAVID!! Nate I would love to chat with you if David wasn't telling a story about your name. My number is 515-528-1930.
