Horrible!!! I agree with a lot of the reviews on here about this place being extremely DIRTY and UNORGANIZED!! I know from personal experience with my own family members and I also work in a dr's office that deals with them and their staff could care less about any resident!! I have called numerous times over the last 6 months and have been told so many excuses on why they have no medical records that I personally gave their staff to return to them!! So again I agree I would not even take my worst enemy to this facility!!! it does not help that this facility is located directly across from an overpopulated drug dealing/gang banging community of Marion Jones Projects!!! The place reeks as you enter like dirty ashtrays and urine! My mom was in there and taken out within the 1st week because they just sit them in a room and say have fun! Unprofessional!!! this facility gives nursing homes a very bad reputation!!!! If anything have a live-in caregiver as they would be more help to your loved one then this place!!!! more

I'm not sure if we're reviewing the same nursing home, but when my brother lived there for a little over a month in June, I didnt have any problems with the staff or the way the facility was run. It's not in the best area of Waukegan, but the nurses and staff were always helpful to make sure my brother had everything he needed. Maybe it was because he wasn't there for very long, but he and I would both feel comfortable with going back there if he needed to. more

Don't send anyone to this place. They have a knack for distributing the wrong medication to their patients, the care is very lackluster and poor, There is lack of care on all levels, and if you want to buy drugs, this is the place. the other reviews i have read all ring true as well. should not even get 1 star, but that was the lowest rating more

If you want to have your loved ones clothes stolen (dirty or not)...this is the place for you. if you want to have to beg crack heads to do their job...this is the place for you. If you love to step over piss puddles and if you enjoy cigarette smoke and the smell of piss....this is the place for you. The state really needs to step in...as a matter of fact ...I have the number and plan to call. more

I often wondered if I didn't watch what this place did, if anything would have been done right. They don't care enough. I had to ask multiple times to have things done to the point that I almost felt like yelling at the staff. Poor administration, they didn't care, just in it for the money. So many people just sat there and were not given any attention or care. at mealtime, the aides just stood there and didn't help the people eat, or visit with them. They just stood there and visited - I wouldn't send my worst enemy there! Pros: A couple people who worked there were OK Cons: Care was sub standard more

Good Treatment Team Nurses, Hardowrking and Caring Staff. Not a lot of $.. more

There is only one entrance to this place and every time you go there you're greeted by cigarette smoke by people who not only live but work there right outside the door. People who work there are always yelling back and forth to eachother. apparently they forgot how to communicate as adults. When you ask them a question no one ever seems to know any thing.They don't keep up with physical therapy schedules. They leave residents sitting out for hours who can't fend for theirselves. No one ever seems to be doing anything. Pros: None Cons: Everything more
