My family and I LOVE Glassworks Gallery and visit there often. The Gallery is so Clean and the artist are there to tell you one on one about their super original artworks. Glassworks is a A multi-use facility with galleries featuring artists from around the world, glass blowing classes and workshops, a restaurant, and tours daily. The glassworks Gallery offers an extensive selection of quality objects to please any art enthusiast. Collectible works by national and international artists are available.They are open from Mon-Sat. 10am-5pm. The admission is very reasonable and kids under 5 get in free. I recommend Glassworks Gallery to any Art Enthusiast. more

A very interesting art form! 8/9/2005

Glassworks is located on West Market Street, right next to the off ramp of I-64 to Roy Wilkins Ave./9th St. They offer a museum to see handmade glass pieces of art and a chance to see it made in person. I do believe that alot of the pieces that are being showcased are available for purchase. They do not offer parking, so make sure to bring change for a on street meter. I think that they also offer classes on glassblowing, if you are interested. more
