GIUSEPPE is so great. I first had my hair highlighted there years ago and have gotten compliments from hairdressers that don't even know me. When I was at a restaurant in Colorado, a lady came up to me and said,"" I don't know where you get your hair done, but it looks amazing. I am a colorist and I can tell alot of time and effort was put into your color. It's beautiful"". My hair always looks and feels wonderful. I love going there. They are the best ! more

best hair stylist 11/2/2010

. Shirin is very good at her craft. Prior to her, I had been going to another stylist for 2 or 3 years. I stopped going to my previous stylist because she stopped paying attention to the details, and her work became hit and miss. I?ve noticed this happens with some stylists.Shirin has been my stylist for over 2 years now, and still her work excels. There are a few guys out there like myself who are picky when it comes getting their hair cut. Shirin is one of the better stylists at Giuseppe Franco salon. She has great technique, double checks her work, and asks for your feedback to make sure she?s styling your hair exactly how you want it. She?s talented enough to be working in a pricier salon, but lucky for us her rate is very reasonable. more

great place to go for a GREAT haircut 11/21/2008

I have used citysearch to review many places in LA. i just moved here a month ago and have never been to a ""salon"" to get my hair cut. im just a normal 21 year old dude who usually just goes to the barbor shop. i went in here to get a good haircut and something new cause i have worn my hair the same way for almost 10 years. what a nice place! everyone was really nice and i was a little scared to go cause i thought it would be full of stuck up beverly hills rich people but it wasnt. they were all nice and GIUSEPPE personally cut my hair. i think he dose that for all first timers there, but not that im complaining. haha. i left there with a smile on my face cause i really liked my haircut! it may be pricy for some people but its worth it and plus its beverly hills. the parking situation isnt bad cause there is a parking garage 1 block away and it gives you the first 2 hours free. go here, its worth it!! best styles in town 7/1/2008

I use city search lately since i moved to L.A. so I'm gonna give some love to the people who have made this move a fun and cool experience. i have to say that Courtney Dolin at Giuseppe Franco salon has got it dialed in! The girl knows her s@!t and I have a good time when I go in there. My hair is lookin hot and the girls love keep lovin me. Hair by Andrea - Great Color/Cut AND Personality - can't beat it! 5/31/2008

Andrea has been doing my hair for many years and I have followed her to every salon. Guiseppe Franco's is by far the best salon she has ever worked at...my favorite AND hers! The people are nice, the salon is busy, they have a great courtyard and you can see celebrities often times...last time I was there, so was Arnold Schwarzenegger and his secret service! I even saw Maria Schriver walk by - she must have been meeting her husband! To top it off, my hair always looks fabulous. Andrea is very knowledgeable about color and she has made suggestions over the years that are always an improvement. I like to ""change it up a bit,"" from highlights to lowlights to ""adding some red,"" she makes it look natural every time. She is also hysterical and a great conversationalist so it passes the time nicely where I enjoy spending my time at the salon... especially this one. The reviews posted for this salon just don't strike me as authentic. By some amazing coincidence they each list the stylist by name and seem to follow a similar writing style. I don't see nearly the level of diversity that should be expected. Who other than someone in the salon business would ever use the word esthetician? I'm more inclined to believe the reviews were planned by the same guy who is willing to take credit for Gary Busey's hair in his television spots for a revolutionary new formula for thinning hair. I saw Riffe at Giuseppe franco Salon this past week and I have to say that I have never been so happy. This guy knows how to cut some hair. He really took the time to figure out exactly what I wanted and he can work with anything. I would definitly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic new cut and blowdry. wow! I have to say I like my hair for the first time in a very long time. I was recommended by a friend to see Courtney for a cut and color. I have curly hair and have often left the salon feeling the same as I did when I walked in or worse. For once it makes sense. She gave me a cut that actually has style and better yet......doesn't require much styling on my part. Also she gave me highlights that actually show amongst my curls I think she called them ribbons? On top of all this....the place is fun! Worth the drive from the east side and not at all what I expected from a 90210 zip (that is except for the celebs walking through, even hanging around chatting with the stylists. I've been to my esthetician, Yumi for my lash extensions, facial, permanent makeup, and waxing for 3 years. She's the BEST and one of a kind!! I've travelled from Valley just to see her, and I've referred all of my friends in LA to her. Her extensions service is so fast, long-lasting, and natural-looking. She's the queen of extractions for facial. She literally works on each single pimples. You can totally feel the big difference especially after her signature age-lift facial. For waxing, she's been recognized as an amazing waxer for her speed and gentle technique since she featured at Damone Roberts for high-profile clients. I highly recommend to go to her. She will be your beauty solutions. You can ask her to get so many services that you can name. I can't believe there aren't more commments about this salon! I have my hair cut and dyed by Courtney Dolin, she rocks and she is so comfortable to be around. The rest of the stylists are also so very attractive and fun! While you have your hair cut, so many people walk by and make jokes, talk to you, and generally enjoy their day while forcing you to forget about the day you've had outside this crazy but entertaining salon. If you want an amazing cut/color/, a good time, and some amazing people watching.....go to Giuseppe Franco ask for Courtney or any one of her stylist friends. more

Expensive but worth it 11/15/2006

I love this place! My stylist, Tommy Works always does a terrific job and he rehabilitated my hair after I fried it with a home-bleaching kit (never again). The atmosphere is very energetic with all the hairdressers mingling around. Guiseppe always tells you how great you look when you're leaving, and he's not lying! I get compliments on my hair for weeks after I go. I always park at the Rite-Aid next door (shh don't tell them). Pros: ambiance, skill, having flawless hair afterwards Cons: expensive more

Where the cool and intelligent people go 6/22/2006

Beverly Hills is all about perception. We see the mansions and movie stars and subconsciously create a Pedi stool for which these material objects are placed. No where else in this city of excess will you find a salon that ""gets it."" You are the object d' affection here. Pros: Nice people, beautiful cuts, perfect color more

I've been going here for a few years now and LOVE it. I used to go to Bryan Howe, who, was AMAZING but unfortunately he moved away. :-( I switched salons trying to find a new colorist and just ended up back with Giuseppe. I was recommended to see Rebecca and I was FLOORED by how good she was! Her color was phenominal....din't have to tell her what past colorists did, etc...she just knew how to fix it and how to do it so I didn't have to come every few weeks!! GREAT cuts as well...HIGHLY recommend her. more

I was referred to Amielle by an associate in my firm. Walked in, was greeted immediately by staff and my shampoo was soon under way. Just leaving a meeting, the shampoo was relaxing. Amielle was accurate with what we discussed would be best for me. My whole service took 45min. Perfect for me to get back to the office. I will be back. Fun environment! Pros: timely more
