I called in mid December to order a Christmas Cactus for a Jan 3rd birthday--I asked if they would still have blooming Cactus then and was told that they probably would. I asked for a mylar ballon as this was for a 60th birthday for a relative and I also asked for a couple biscotti to be attached as a treat. My relative received a plant that had no blooms whatsoever; and there was no mylar balloon attached. The florist did not include any silk flowers or anything to give color to the plant, other than a pink bow. I called the owner and was told that the Cactus were no longer in bloom, and that she did not want to go over the price limit so she did not include the mylar balloon that I asked for in the initial order. These really defeated the purpose of trying to surprise my relative at her place of work on her 60th birthday. I felt that the florist should have called me and asked what I prefered in light of these circumstances prior to fulfilling my order. I told her that my relative was not happy and asked if my relative could come in and exchange the cactus for something else and the owner said that her mother was ill and that she was not in a position to do anything about this. She did not offer for my relative to come in the following week, or give a credit. I would not order from this business again.
