Smooth skin! 6/2/2009

This place is just amazing (and very beautiful). I spent an entire lunch time relaxing and receiving great treatments. I had a laser facial and even some laser hair removal. These folks are very professional and know exactly where your trouble spots are. All of the staff was very friendly and I will definitely go back again. Pros: Results as expected more

True service and results with Gentle Touch 5/31/2009

I have been going to the Gentle Touch Laser Center for treatment on my bikini and underarms. I just finished my 5th treatment and have noticed a huge difference! At least 85-90% of my hair is gone so far, and what grows back is much thinner and I only shave every couple of weeks. I have seen Regina for all my treatments and she is very knowledgeable about the hair removal process, makes the treatments comfortable and is very detailed. The rest of the staff is very friendly as well. Very clean and well worth the money. If available ask to meet with the owner, he is very honest and knowledgeable about laser procedures. Best center in Manhattan 5/31/2009

I have been a customer of the Hair Removal center in Manhattan for over a year. I must say that this is the best center in the city. I'm very satisfied with the work they have done and the final results are great. One thing is for sure - you receive value for your money. After living in Manhattan for a while I finally found a professional hair removal center. Working with Suzanne is simply awesome. She explained every aspect of hair removal and told me what to expect. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The overall experience was great. Great place for service and results from laser. 5/31/2009

Since I have had really bad skin since puberty, I went to Gentle Touch to get laser treatments on my face as well has hair removal on my chin. It was recommended by my doctor. I go for treatments every 6 weeks. They do wonders with my skin. It's amazing, after a couple of sessions my skin looks healthier and I look more self-confident then ever not having any facial hair. Technology has done what years of topical ointments couldn't do. Keep up the great service. Pros: Keep up the great service Cons: need larger waiting area more

Professional Center with real results 5/31/2009

A couple of years ago I had 10 sessions for hair removal on my legs at another company in Manhattan. I saw little to no improvement. I'm on my 3rd session with the Gentle Touch Laser and I already see an major improvement. From what I was told and what I researched was the reason I am seeing results is because now I am having treatments with a laser not an IPL. This is the most professional laser center in the city. I can't recommend Gentle Touch enough. more

The facility is amazing! The staff is professional and very knowledgeable. Most importantly- they use the finest equipment you will find in the city. The investment made in equipment and training must have been very high. It shows in the end result! I am hair-free on my legs and underarm areas. Every time I go the technician is so sweet and my appointments begin on time. There was on time though that I was about 20 minutes early and I was kinda in a rush so I had asked, who I believed was the other technician, if she could start me early and she kinda gave me an attitude. Come to find out she was a nurse for one of the doctors and not a laser technician so maybe it was my fault, but they apologized for her attitude. Other than that I am totally happy. Professional, friendly and clean facility 5/31/2009

I am currently going to Regina for laser hair removal. I was very pleased with my consultation with her and there was NO sales pressure to get additional areas done. She is great and I was as comfortable as I could be having a laser when you normally wouldn't want one. Very clean and professional and I would recommend any of my closest friends to this place! Clear skin again... 5/31/2009

I have rosacea and have been elsewhere in the city to remove some apparent veins, which I had a bad experience that has left me very skeptical in trusting someone else. My face kept getting worse so I had to do something. I read great things on City Search about this place so I scheduled an appointment. My technician explained everything to me before anything was done and it was nice to have her detail what she could do and how long it would take to see results, discomfort levels, and more for about 1/2 hour. She didn't miss anything where as the other place I went wasn't thorough and I was in and out in 10 minutes and dropped a lot of money for no results. I have had two laser treatments and I am seeing results already. The atmosphere is welcoming and the people are extremely friendly and professional. There is no discomfort during the facial process. What a difference.... 5/31/2009

I went into having laser treatments with some skepticism, but after my first consultation, I knew this was the place for me. The staff is very warm and inviting, including the owner who makes you feel 110% at ease with the experience. I had a laser procedure done on my face and cleared up my hair problem. It was truly a wonderful, life changing experience. I was having hairs grow under my chin since I was in high school and for a female it is very embarrassing. I owe them all of my gratitude and cannot be anything but thankful for the effort and attention in addressing my issue. Any place in New York, this is the place you need to go. The price is outstanding, lowest available and the service and technology used is top of the line. A truly amazing experience. Thanks Regina!!! Pros: Service and Cost more

I have had aesthetic medical procedures in LA and Miami over the years, yet being from NYC I never thought that you could receive great customer service. I met with Gina to get a few little veins on my nose zapped- I'm telling you she is fantastic- so down to earth, yet extremely professional at the same time. Who likes shaving? No one and that's why I decided on lasering my body. I decided to come to Gentle Touch because my friend finished her treatments last year and she has no hair. I started 5 months ago and I am seeing a huge difference. The hair comes back thin and barely there. Treatments are very quick and then the hair just falls out and doesn't come back for weeks. I am very pleased with Regina, she is very sweet and delivers great customer service. Best part is not having to shave anymore, that simple. Pros: no more shaving more

Excited about laser 5/27/2009

I came in for their free consultation service. Met with a very nice young lady you explained to me the laser process and showed me her areas that she had done herself. I liked the center and the staff and especially my package deal, bought bikini (Brazilian) and got my underarms for free. So far just one treatment in but I have already seen the hair fall out and I am very comfortable with my technician. Can't wait to be hair less! What a dream! 5/27/2009

What a dream it is not to have to hassle with shaving! I met Regina on the 6 train on my way home about 8 months ago. I saw her in her uniform and asked about laser, if it really worked. She gave me her card and told me to come in and she would give me a test spot. When I came in first thing she did was show me her underarm. I was impressed with the fact that I saw no stubble. I started right then and there. I am in there full body program, which has saved me a lot of money. I am so pleased with my results I have sent her three of my friends and they are so pleased as well. What a dream it is to be hair free for summer time! Thank you Gentle Touch!
