Gentech Dental and Dr. McClure run a competent, friendly and very professional clinic. My entire family is completely safisfied with Gentech. We have had and will be having lots of work performed there (unfortunately) and I'm glad I have found a clinic that is supported by a friendly staff and great atmosphere and obviously a great Dr. which is needed to solve my issues. more

Dr. Al is the holy shrine of dentistry. the most talented and expert dentist I have ever had. not to mention his chair side manner. great energy in this place. everyone seems happy with their job and the role they have here. this business is there to serve their customers and make the experience a good one in every way possible. very rare in today's environment. more

Wanted to share some thoughts about my recent visit to Gentech. I had to have my bridge removed and replaced in order to have some work done on an abutment tooth. I have had this bridge for 35 years, and I always wondered what it would be like when I had to have this done, as it's a given that something like this would have happened eventually. The experience was very relaxed and the staff was fantastic. Dr. Al has been my dentist for a while, and he is always concerned about his patent's comfort and understanding about the procedures that are to be performed. The tech that did my temporaries was amazing; the most gentle touch and wonderful chairside manner imaginable. I recommend this office highly. They will do everything possible to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Be sure to discuss all of your concerns and anxieties and don't be afraid to ask for anything you may need to make your visit a pleasant one. If you've been looking for a dentist or putting off dental work, I highly recommend you check out the Salmon Creek office. I think you'll be glad you did. more

I've read the reviews from patients that have had good and bad experiences with Gentech, Salmon Creek, and was shocked to see ANY negative responses, but do understand that some would complain no matter what. \r My wife has been a dental assistant for over 30 years in both Los Angeles and in Georgia, and after my discovery of this office, ( I had some serious work done ), she finally went with me for my last visit and we were both offered a tour of the facility and found a VERY professional, well equipped office, with both doctors and assistants who are not only friendly but are very caring. They know that some are very hesitant when it comes to having their teeth looked at or worked on and do whatever is needed to put the patient at ease and will try and be as gentle as possible. But for the nay- sayers, that complain, remember that your attitude may have something to do with your negative experience. \r I will recommend this office to any that ask and I will surely be having more work done with Dr's Watanabe and Nguyen. \r \r Today is 1/7/13 and I just returned from dr watanabis office where I had a root canal. Again I say, I don't understand the nay sayers. My visit was very pleasant and let me tell you, I've had 4 root canals in my ice and this one was by far the easiest and the most painlless I have ever had.\r This staff is to be commended on their dedication and \r Excellent care they show to their patients.\r more

I waited for two weeks to get my appointment, which was fine since I made that decision because of my work. I finally get to the date of the appointment and they call me an hour before saying that they could not do it because of the insurance. The Dentist seemed to me kind of condescending and what he said was scripted but tried to make it sound personal it just sounded weird to me, some of this could have been miscommunication since the lady at the front desk spoke broken English at best. There is more to everything here but it would take to long to write. I will never go back to this place or recommend it to anyone. more

The staff is always looking after your comfort, give you a hearty laugh and are very professional and friendly. If you have to go the dentist, this is a great place to go! more

This is my second time coming into Gentech Dentist in Salmon Creek. I am 30 years old, and have had nothing but nasty experiences with dentists since childhood. I am a local nurse, so I am quite picky when it comes to any medical facility. I have been seeing Dr. Scott McClure, and he is not only efficient, but very precise and kind. His bed side manner, and professional demeanor are fantastic. This office goes over and above for their patients, and the dental assistant Becca is so adorable. I will be scheduling my family here in January. They are so accommodating and friendly. Finally, an office that truly cares about their patients. Come get some....Dr. McClure and Becca are my little angels in disguise. This was my worst fear. I dont even get the nitrous anymore. See you all soon. Melissa more

Gentech could have much better customer service. They never ask me if i have any special request which would be appreciated. I can only complain about gentech, not going back. more

I just had some bonding done on my front teeth. The experience wasn't very pleasant, they didn't numb me enough. I don't have much to smile about now. more

First of all, I don't like that review that says Gentech pays ppl to post. I've never written a review about anybody, I'm a rather lazy person but Gentech is the best dentist I've ever been to. It used to be all routine; got my teeth cl eaned by a chatty hygienist, the dentist came in for a total of five seconds, poked at my teeth then left. I still don't know what his name was. But Gentech and dr. Watanabe went above and beyond what I could have ever asked for. I've never been so informed on my dental health and basic problems that I could avoid or even how to avoid them. What got me the most was that everyone who worked on my teeth wanted to know if there was anything specific I wanted help with. And of course there was, actually a problem that my last dentist had fixed but needed to be fixed again. Dr. Watanabe not only wanted to help me fix that problem the same day but asked me questions to figure out why the solution didn't last before, then informed me how I could prevent the same problem from happening again. He also referred me to a specialist which was optional so that I could a second opionion and choose who I wanted the procedure done by so that I could get the best care possible. That visit really got me pumped about taking better care of my teeth and had me so excited that before leaving and bragging to the office manager and receptionist about what a great visit I had she handed me a pamphlet that told me exactly how I could write a review. Thank you everyone at Gentech, I can't wait for my next visit! more

I'm almost 74 yrs old, had neglected my teeth for years (no money, no dental insurance). Finally found my way to Gentech Dentists in Salmon Creek, WA, and actually had an extremely positive experience! Had three molars extracted - they were in bad shape! I've been told that I have a difficult mouth to anesthetize, told Dr. Scott McClure this - he was very careful to make sure I was feeling no pain. Numerous injections of novocain, NO pain whatsoever! For you non-believers who doubt the veracity of prior revues - the treatment from beginning to end was SUPERIOR. Dr. McClure is exceptional, his assistants Stacy and Becca are exceptional - everyone in the office is exceptional! And..fair prices, discount for paying cash, etc. Don't believe me if you don't want to, but I had to tell Dr. McClure that I knew it sounded weird - but it was actually a FUN experience. I heartily endorse Dr. McClure and the crew there. And too bad about those of you who doubt the other reviews - maybe they just got loaded on the same day? If you don't go to this dentist - it's your loss- I'm not going to down-play my experience in order to satisfy the doubters! Hey, I remember when they used ""pliers"" to pull teeth - ugh! more

I had seriously BAD experiences with dental procedures and came to Dr. Watanabe with preconcieved fears and learned dreads. He has handled me with kid-gloves since day-one coming to his practice. I appreciate that he doesn't give me the pat-answer that he is ""different"" but he gives me full disclosure on procedures that need to be done. My teeth are awful (I blame Mom) and I've had a lot of problems. Dr. Watanabe has treated me professionally and with great concern for my comfort. He calls me every evening following a traumatic visit (such as filling, root canal, or extraction). Every time! The last friend I referred to Dr. Watanabe lives in Seattle and has sworn to drive to Salmon Creek forevermore due to the fantastic treatment he received at Gentech by Dr. Watanabe. I feel like I have bragging-rights when anyone talks about thier dentist. I've heard so many horror stories and I have nothing but good to say about Dr. Watanabe and his staff at Gentech in Salmon Creek! Pros: What can we do for you is asked with sincere concern. Cons: No drawbacks! For a few years they have been great. more

Dr. Watanabe has been our family dentist for many years. He and his assistants at Gentech have all treated my entire extended family with kindness and the work has always been top notch. Dr. Watanabe calls us at home every time after a procedure - even just a small filling - to check in and make sure we are comfortable. I have never had a more attentive, professional dentist and I would highly recommend him. more

I was pretty clear that I was coming to them 1 time to get mass dental work done since the Coast Guard is on my tale for readiness. Then I would be returning to my prior dentist that I really dig. With that being said, late this afternoon, he gave me ""Root Canal Therapy"" a crown and another filling. This was all made possible by his dedication to making me comfortable. I had a nice warm blanket, a pillow, some Jack Johnson w / headphones, meds he gave me an hour early to take to chill me out and then ""Happy Gas"". Gen Tech took both my dental insurances and offer 0% interest on anything remainder. I love Dr. Al, Becca, Kelsie and the cute gals in the front office! Super happy with my ""Root Canal Therapy, crown and filling I got all tonight. I have never liked the Dentist and put it off for many years because of past bad experiences with Dentists. I knew going into it that it was not going to be cheap and cost was not my main concern I was looking for that good experience that I needed to be able to get the work done. Dr. McClure delivered that to me 110%. I have a terrible fear of needles and was so pleased when I did not feel a single thing. I wish that as a child it where as easy as it was yesterday. The work that was done was on the front 6 top teeth. There was noticeable deterioration in the front two that was quite unsightly and a real confidence downer. When Dr. McClure finished I was in shock at the precision that he had done. I was in absolute shock and could not thank him enough. I look forward to going back and finishing the job as I have no more fears of Dentists. I will never go anywhere else. My Hygienist is just as good and just as great. If you have any doubts in Dentists as I did give Gentech a try. I'm so glad that I did. Pros: Gentle professional an all around great experience Cons: None more

Gentech dentist has a very professional atmosphere that caters to the whole family's wishes! The dentists and hygienists take time to answer questions and explain procedures. They have a very flexible schedule offering daytime and evening appointments. more
