Not Good. Bad. 7/19/2010

The sauce is Prego, no doubt about it. The food is bland, almost tasteless. The pasta is not homemade, the bread looks like it was brought over from the local grocery store. Our meal was a classic Luby's style cafeteria version of Eggplant Parmesian and Chicken Marsala, with the price tag of a Manhattan specialty restaurant. On a positive note, the house wine was excellent. Otherwise, the meal might have been a reheated Hungryman TV dinner. Pros: House Wine Cons: The food is bad more

Was in Prescott last weekend (7/9to7/11) and I wanted some Italian food so I went to Genoveses on Gurley St. Friday evening, I knew I was in trouble when they had a limited choice of draft beer (2). Well we were down to our last mushroom, when they brought out some hot garlic bread, which we had only one piece. Now the main entry came, I ordered the lasagna which was terrible, not only being a small portion, the bottom was burnt, and the pasta part was thick and hard. My wife ordered the eggplant marsala which had a small amount of eggplant, but loaded with green peppers, again we still didn't complain, and neither of us finished our meals. It was a horid experience, will never go back, and never recommend this place to anyone, even my worst enemy... more
