My husband and I ordered a beautiful potted Peace Lily to be sent to my step-father's funeral because we were unable to attend. I wanted something my mother could take home with her and keep, also, I wanted something there to ""represent"" us since we couldn't be there. Well, we recieved an email stating that the flowers were delivered. However, when I talked to my mother later that evening on the telephone, she said that they were not there. We waited until the next day to give my mother time to talk to the pastor of the church where the funeral was held to see if maybe they had been missplaced somewhere, he said they were not there. We called FTD later that same day and were told that the flowers had been delivered on the day of the funeral at 9:15 a.m., but that they were going to follow up to see what exactly happened and that we would hear from them again. Now, today, 2 days after the funeral, I receive a call from my sister, who is with my mother to help her through this time, that they received the flowers today at her house along with a few other flower arraingements that were also supposed to have been delivered at the church for the funeral. When I found out that the flowers were not there at the funeral, I was heart-broken. Of all days and of all orders for them to mess up, why did it have to be this one?
