A +++ Pie! 2/1/2011

I love this place! Every time I visit my friend in Fremont I get her a Pie – if you haven’t tried these pies then you just don’t know what you’re missing! Literally melts in your mouth! And just a tip but Hazelnut ice cream goes very well with it! more

Best Ice Cream 3/6/2006

Since there is no Ben and Jerry in Fremont, this is the best for ice cream. Reminds me of my vacations in Italy. The owner is from Latin America and is very friendly and provides good service. Conveniently located right off of highway 880 and Mowry Avenue. Lots of adjacent restaurants. Skip the dessert at these eateries and head to Gelato Classico after dinner. more

This small venue isn't too remarkable looking, but the gelato itself is quite good. It is also conveniently located next to a few restaurants and a movie theater, so it isn't too out of the way. It is generally very low-key, and I don't think I've ever seen it crowded. A good place to drop by after dinner. more

Italian Soda 8/6/2005

My friend is always going on and on about how fabulous and 'to die for' the Italian sodas are here at Gelato Classico. She has been to Italy, so I assume her opinion does count for something. I like the strawberry flavored one (it is very fruity and refreshing), but have not tried the other flavors yet. The ice cream is really worth a try also, I tried one of their coffee flavored versions and I could not put my spoon down. This is a nice treat for people with a sweet tooth. more
