The great Geauga county fair is, at least in my humble opinion, the best county fair I have ever been to. It is held every Labor day weekend and it has all the usuals (there always has to be a prize winning zucchini doesn't there?) like the 4-h raised farm animals and the cattle auctions. What I noticed to be one of the biggest draws though are the Alpaca exhibits. If you haven't heard of these crazy, weird, cool animals stop by the fair and check them out. They are kind of like mini Llamas but much better behaved and Ohio is one of the Alpaca capitals (who knew?) If you are only going to go to one county fair, make it the Geauga County fair and have fun for the entire family.
