We sat upstairs on the outdoor patio. Two of the four ordered food, two were there for drinks. We were told that our food would be arriving soon, then 15 minutes later, we were told that again. The waitress brought the wrong order (french fries when I ordered salad) and she said that she had to take my plate away. I asked why...are you going to serve the fries to someone else ? I was flabbergasted when she said yes ! The waitress was rude, slow to serve, rolled her eyes, and couldn't give us information about the menu. When we asked what took so long to get our dinner, the waitress responded that they had gotten a rush on food downstairs. I suppose happy hour food takes precedent at this establishment. I asked to speak to the manager but he never came upstairs. When we finally got the bill, the waitress walked by us 3 times even though we clearly wanted to pay the bill. We walked downstairs and asked to speak to the manager. He made excuses for the poor service and clearly didn't care that we were unsatisfied with our experience. I absolutely would NOT return to Gator's. This totally explains why there are 5 other poor reviews about them on this site.
Pros: Walking distance from most hotels in the area
Cons: Loud, poor service and attitude by wait staff and manager
