Many items were lost or stolen, others were broken, shattered, missing pieces, and seriously damaged. As a distressed customer, my pleas for help were ignored. After months of humiliation and unreturned letters and phone calls, I was forced to hire an attorney. This company should not be allowed to operate a business. We used Gathright Van & Storage to move from Little Rock to CA in 2007 and have been gravely disappointed. Lee was the sales person and son of the owners. We had $5000. in losses/damages. My bed was smashed (head board & foot board completely ruined), many items were missing including outdoor furniture, legs are missing from furniture. I paid extra for special treatment of my grand piano and pieces were missing. We also paid extra for FULL COVERAE insurance and as of yet, over a year later, we have not received one dime. North American Van Lines won't stand behind them b/c they are a franchise. They will not return our calls. PLEASE save yourself some heart ache and $$ and don't use Gathright or North American.
