I'm not sure what the deal is with some of the reviewers, but some people will complain about nothing. And let's face it, a plastic surgeon can only help some people to a certain extent (no offense). DR. TAKOWSKY is the VERY BEST in Los Angeles and cannot recommend him more highly. His prices are reasonable and his work is TOP NOTCH. more

Over the course of several years I have had implants, rhinoplasty, liposuction and buccal fat pad removal (fat taken out of my cheecks because I looked like a cabbage patch kid). When you enter his office you feel like you are away from the street and busy life. I felt very comfortable with Dr. from the minute that I met him. He was very knowledgeable very honest and thorough about all of my questions during the consultation. His staff was equally open and supportive and very caring. Finally I made my decision and scheduled my breast reduction surgery. Dr. Gary Takowsky and his staff gave me at every step of the way. They treated me as if I was part of his family. more

I had a great experience with Dr. T and his staff!! I have and would continue reccomending him to everyone. He is very down to earth and a genuine nice person. I am very happy with my surgery results and thanks to him i feel comfortable in my own skin :) I dont understand why he has any negative comments about him but some people are never happy with themselves no matter how much work they get done. Thats not the Dr.'s fault. He has many pictures to back up his work. I would highly reccomend him to anyone who wants great work done at a very reasonable price!! more

Everything is uneven, different shapes and sizes on each side, and the incision sites are horrendous. I feel like he completely ruined my body, and I will have to go to another doctor to have this corrected. He makes you sign an arbitration agreement (about 20 minutes before you go in for surgery) so you can't sue him, and then won't give you a copy of what you signed. Whenever I asked him about the unevenness and red, raised, bulbous scars, he insists that everything is normal and that my surgery looks great. I have done my own research and I know that this is not normal, and I can see that he did a terrible sloppy job. Cons: mutilation more

Because my first appointment was FREE and because I had heard that he was an excellent plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills I?ve decided just to go and to see... Yeah, the staff is in on it as well, they try to make you feel bad after you start complaining about this man's works, as if you ask this man to just cut you up the wrong way or put the wrong implants in ya, they make it seem like nothing is wrong and you look great, and start avoiding you when you call or come in to the office, not returning phone calls back, just covering up what was done, that's even worst is for liars to perfom games for some one who did wrong. It's completely understood, because your stuck like a dump truck after you paid your monies and sign those forms. That is it. your doom! more

He invented his own brand of plastic surgery, and unfortunately i had a tummy tuck done with him and it came out uneven and with huge scars. I found out later that four other patients of his that did liposuction and breast augmentation were also very unhappy. Unfortunately he cannot be sued because of his contract. Help yourself, do not let this guy touch you. more

Pros: Staff is great and very helpful, Dr. is flexible with scheduling, pricing is reasonable. Office is very nice and surgery is at dr.'s office so you dont have to travel!!
