Gary Takowsky, MD

I have been going to Dr. Takowsky for years. I am 34 and people think I am 24 thanks to him. With his help I have improved my life, career, relationships and self-esteem. I have never been disappointed with any of the work he has done. Over the course of several years I have had implants, rhinoplasty, liposuction and buccal fat pad removal (fat taken out of my cheecks because I looked like a cabbage patch kid). I still get collagen, botox, etc. I have referred countless people who knew me ""before"" and want the same results.\r \r I was referred by a friend and know several other people who have gone to him and EVERYONE has been HAPPY. I'm not sure what the deal is with some of the reviewers, but some people will complain about nothing. And let's face it, a plastic surgeon can only help some people to a certain extent (no offense). \r \r DR. TAKOWSKY is the VERY BEST in Los Angeles and cannot recommend him more highly. His prices are reasonable and his work is TOP NOTCH. more

had my eyes done , upprr and lower lids .. Had to return my eyes were coplitly diferent 4 milimeter of difference one eye i can barely close properly imy right am left with 2 diferent eyes my eye brows are not the same anymore Dr takovky took too much skin out of on eye When i return to show him what was hapenning the staff try to convince me that nothing was wrong at first Dr takowsky was making fun making face Closing one of his eyes while i return in different ocasions I let him correct the mistaer but the second time he wasn ,t able to correct the problem...i had to have futher surgery with a diferent dr.. and still working on corecting the problem 1 year later ,, that sum it all more

I don't know what these other people are talking about, because I had an awesome experience with Dr. Takowsky's office and I was EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY RESULTS!!! The consultation was free, and the staff spent a long time with me, allowing me to view tons of before and after photos. I appreciated his straight forward approach. He did run late for my appointment, but I did notice it was because he was on the phone for a long time with another patient. He also spent a long time with me, discussing my options during my consultation as well, which made up for the long waiting time. Anyway, I look amazing and I feel great and had no out-of-the-ordinary problems after surgery. As someone who also works in the medical field, not just a patient, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Takowsky's office. It was clean, friendly, and Dr. Takowsky has been at that same office since 1985, apparently, so he's doing something right!!! Pros: Very Natural results, down-to-earth staff, will actually talk to you on the phone! I didn't have any complications! Cons: Scheduling. more

I do not know why this man is doing surgery. I don't even call him a doctor because of his immature actions. I had breast enhancement surgery and was informed of his doings when I was under anthesia. Not only was he eating while performing my surgery but walking to different rooms. He was uncertain about details and in fact was heard questioning his assistant what I wanted. Also, the pressure of bringing him the money was horrible. Please stay away from him. more
