Dr Garcia was my daughter's pediatrician for 2 1/2 years. We had recently moved to the Montgomery, AL area when we found Dr Garcia. When she found in my daughter's medical records that she had a UTI a few months prior, she quickly suggested testing be done to be sure there were no abnormalities with my daughter's bladder.( My former ped felt there was no need for testing unless my daughter had another UTI.) Dr Garcia put my daughter on a low dose of antibiotics and referred us to a pediactric urologist in Birmingham for testing. My daughter was diagnosed with and still has low grade bladder reflux. She takes antibiotics daily to avoid any more infections. Had she not been tested, she could have received damage to her kidneys with each infection and worse case scenario would have needed a kidney transplant as a young woman. I'm thankful for Dr Garcia's knowledge and care for her patients. We have now moved to another state so we are unable to use her services any more.
