Wow. Where do we start? Ok. The Gap. There it is on Haight & Ashbury. Deep breath. No, really, I think it's great that there's a Gap there, to compliment the t-shirt shop and the Ben & Jerry's. No, seriously, it's great. I mean, how could have the hippies ever have anticipated the slave-labor fueled consumer world we live in today? Love is blind, you know? Really, it's not their fault that they burned out and tuned out. There were a lot of factors. You gotta get real, you know? And you can't deny that they have the best ad campaigns? Yeah, a Gap on that corner is good. It shows how far we've come. It's a good symbol for kids of my generation. They know everyone comes around eventually. And when we do, we'll know where to go to look well dressed.
