What a great place 4/11/2006

This place is not nearly as over the top as I had expected. the tables with a river view are great. They offer a great and affordable menu. Check out the early bird specials! You get you r full meal for one low price. It was well worth stopping. They accept reservations but through the week you do not really need them. On the weekends don't think about getting in without them. The wait staff is just remarkable and this will be one dining experience that you will not forget. more

One of Pittsburgh's Most Notable Restaurants 3/18/2006

The Grand Concourse is easily one of Pittsburgh's most noted restaurants. Housed in an old train station, this grand restaurant is known for its elegant atmosphere, fantastic service, and phenomenal food. In my experience of this restaurant though, I didn't find the food all that amazing. I consider myself a "foodie," but this food just didn't measure up. If you're looking for the whole package, this definitely will do, but it comes at quite a high cost. more

The Grand Concourse is one of Pittsburgh’s premier restaurants. It is very elegent and the food is great as well. The restaurant is built inside of an old Pittsburgh train station and has much history. Not only this, but the location is great as well, it is on top of Mount Washington, and you are able to see a fantastic view of the city from the main dining room. I highly recommend going there for Sunday brunch because it is much more affordable then going there on a weekday and the food is still great. more

Oh what a feast... 8/30/2005

If you are ever have the occasion to eat brunch at the grand concourse...DON'T MISS IT! You will be able to dine on all different variety of food...from breakfast to dinner to fresh made bananas foster. I highly recommend the bananas foster, I in fact, eat my $20 worth of the bananas foster...I do dine on some of the other delicious items there serve, but the BF...is by far the best I have ever had. more

Grand Concourse--neat atmosphere, great for brunch 8/30/2005

I've been to the Grand Concourse for Sunday brunch several times and it's always excellent. They have all your usual breakfast items (pancakes, eggs, toast, waffles, etc.) plus fruits, omlets made to order, fountains of juice, meats, and a wide selection of lunch items too. I've never been there for dinner. I've heard it's a bit overpriced but the brunch is great! It's at Station Square in the old train building and it's beautiful. more
