don't go here. I happened to drive by this place and decided to stop and check out the menu. It looked good, as did the photos of the sandwiches, so I ordered a pastrami on rye with spicy mustard. Now I've eaten at plenty New York deli's and believe me when I say, the sandwich I got was not anything like what you get in New York. In New York, the pastrami is sliced about an eighth of an inch thick and stacked on good rye bread, and served with pickle slices. The pastrami at Gandolfo's is shaved and piled on bread that could have been white or wheat for all the flavor it had. The spicy mustard wasn't spicy, and the topper is, they toasted the bread. No self respecting New York Deli would toast the bread. If I wanted a California style pastrami, I would have gone to the Hat. I was very disappointed in the food, and you would think that for $8.00, the sandwich would have included a pickle slice. No, they charge you an extra buck for a pickle. Terrible place and I will never return. I predict this place will be closed within 6 months.
