Fultons Prime Rib

FOR THIS DISAPPOINTED DUDE, THE OLD (REAL) FULTON'S HAS BEEN INSULTED IN THIS CRASS REDUX. THE SERVICE WAS THIRD GREADE, THE FOOD PREP AT BEST, JR HIGH AND THE SERVICE EQUALLY JUVENILE AND UNINSPIRED. THE PRESENTATION, THOUGH WEAK, WAS MADE EVEN WORSE BY THE SIZE OF THE PORTIONS. NOW, I AM NOT A BIG EATER AND I AM HWP, NOT A GLUTTON AND PLAN TO KEEP IN SHAPE. B U T ! I DO EXPECT A STEAK THAT LOOKS SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT THAN A CHICKEN WING. SO THIN WAS MY FILET THAT I THOUGHT THE CHEF (IF THERE IS ONE) HAD MISTAKEN MY ORDER FOR A SLICE OF SCALOPINI. THE VEGES WERE EQUALLY ""UNDAZZLING"" AND NO MORE IS THAT OLD WONDERFUL TERMINAL DELIGHT OF FULTON'S: HOT APPLE PIE WITH RUM SAUCE. I went here with a group of co-workers and kind of was excited. NOT. Their food was unacceptable and even not even edible. Prices for their food was outrageous for the taste. I had the rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes. The mashed..potatoes were mysteriously SOUR and didn't even touch it and...the rib eye was a piece of PRIME RIB GRILLED. That totally is not GOOD. My friend ordered this pasta and it was poorly seasoned and the pasta was still crunch and undercooked. Never will I ever step into this place. more

I have attended 2 large group gatherings at this location. Both times were huge disappointments. The first was mostly extremely slow service. However last night I am sorry to report, the only good thing was the ambience and pleasant waiter and bartender. Again the service was very slow. We were told the bread delivery had not arrived that day so they just did not serve any bread rather than make a run to purchase some for their guests.\r \r We were offered a choice of 3 salads, all seemed to be happy with them even though there were many grumblings of missing bread.\r \r The prime rib was mostly overdone, some were randomly served mashed red potatoes, others baked potatoes, and many were missing the au jus with their prime rib or it was watered down when requested. The salmon was very fishy smelling and uneatable, the plain steamed rice, served with the salmon was watery and tastless, the chicken parmesan was served with barely noticeable sauce and pasta with no sauce. \r \r I do hope someone from the restaurant will read this and look into making huge improvements. I felt sorry for the wait staff. This was so unbelieveable that I had to submit this for any others planning on spending a large amount of money for a group dinner.
