What a bummer! I ordered from Friendship for the first time in over a year after seeing it on Check Please! and hoped they were better. I was wrong. The food is just not that good, even for Chinese delivery, which I think everyone orders when craving but with a grain of salt...nobody expects A+ chow but for A+++++ prices, I expected more from Friendship. Beyond the ""eh"" food, we received only 2 of the 4 veggie rolls we ordered. Not a big deal ordinarily, but this kind of thing has happened with this place before and for $50, I want my food! I called today and the man who answered the phone didn't say anything at first and then must have found his script when I said, ""Well?....."" He responded, ""So sorry. Will not happen in the future."" I find that hard to believe since he didn't ask who I was, what I ordered or how he could refund me for the items I didn't receive or compensate me in the future. I find this incredibly annoying considering a dinner for two came to $50, including tip! To put this in perspective, I can order twice as much food that is as good or even better (albeit, not as ""creative"") at Eat First for nearly half the price. I hate to write a bad review because I'm all about supporting the local, Logan Square joints but, obviously, they don't share the same loyalties with their customers. Going ""outside the box"" for Chinese is fine....if it's good and you get what you paid for. These days, with $2.75 delivery charges, $11.95 entrees and missing food, I'll be ordering elsewhere.
Pros: It has some interesting ideas on the menu but having it delivered makes me wish I went with old school Chinese
Cons: You don't get the food you paid for!!; Customer Service is no good
