I will always be the first to compliment directly on good or excellent service. However, when service is not the standard expected I usually will not complain, I just pass the word on to family, friends, everyone and anyone who will listen through every possible social media.\r \r In this case I am pressed to mention how EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and EMBARRASSED I was with the service and quality of flowers provided by “French Florist” 8658 W. Pico Blvd. Los Angeles. They promise “101% Satisfaction On Every Order”………well, I was 0% satisfied.\r \r 1) I paid for “Guaranteed Delivery” by 2pm on September 19th. Flowers were delivered after 2pm. \r 2) Flowers appeared as if they were just “tossed” in the vase.\r 3) Flowers were wilting by 9pm the same day they arrived although they were sitting in an air conditioned room. Some rose petals were “black” when the bouquet arrived.\r 4) Guests were overheard commenting on how awful the bouquet looked.\r 5) I asked some family members to guess the cost of the bouquet and they ALL quoted below $50.00. Cost (not including ""Express Delivery"") $104.95!\r \r I would have done much better for way less from a street vendor at a highway intersection.\r more

French Florist twice delivered very poor quality flowers to my recipients in the LA area. Both times the arrangements were not fresh exhibiting brown flowers upon delivery. One time we thought, ok, they had an off day, but the second time within 4 months? C'mon! I sent a floral birthday cake and it not only looked terrible but it was wilted on arrival and brown and dead in 3 days! I've sent these before from other florists and they've lasted over 2 weeks. Absolutely the worst florist, I would NEVER use them again. more

French Florist for the win! Seriously, the best service and the most UN-believable arrangements. Last Turkey Day all my friends thought I'd paid double what I had for the table arrangements I'd ordered from French Florist. They delivered right to my door all the way in Culver City! The flowers lasted over a week and smelled oh so sweet. I've already ordered for this year and I can't wait to see what they whip up! Merci beaucoup, Fran?ais Fleuriste! more

I got flowers delivered from my boyfriend and when he actually saw them, he freaked, ""It's tiny!"" It's true, they cut the stems (or maybe they used already cut leftover flowers) SO SHORT, I couldn't re-arrange them in another vase. I did call and tell them. And they did send another re-placement. But the replacement was even smaller! If you want an arrangement that're tiny and you don't ever want to put them in another vase or even to change the water, these people are for you. In my opinion this is the best florist in LA. They are always friendly and when they say something will be delivered at a certain time it is. It has a great location as well. Pros: Quick, High Quality and Selection more

I have been a customer for over 20 years and I have never been dissatisfied with the beauty, freshness and quality of the flower arrangements I have ordered from this shop. Whether its a gorgeous arrangement for a holiday or even for business associate, The French Florist's unique and colorful arrangements are eye- popping and innovative and their service has never let me down. They always offer great prices and special deals, beyond competitive! I wonder how they do that? The wide selection of creative designs and gift baskets are more exquisite than Ive seen from other local florists. Ive also been fortunate to receive flowers and plants from my favorite little floral shop and Im always (happily) surprised at how long the flowers last! To a flower lover, that kind of freshness and lasting quality is important. Over 20 years, its still MY FAVORITE LA FLORIST! I have had 2 arrangements delivered from this place and both were in poor condition. The flowers were dying, beat-up, and the arrangements themselves were nothing spectacular. I finally had to tell the sender that this florist was not somewhere he should spend his money. I didn't say anything before because I wanted to be polite, it is always nice to get floors. Well, he emailed French Florist to let them know he wasn't satisfied and he never received a response. The owner signs the card ""101% satisfaction on every order"". Ha! You cannot even get a response back after trying to contact them. Cons: half dead, beat up flowers, no apology or replacement from florist more

I can't think of another florist who has consistently exceeded my expectations like the French Florist! They have done a great job on every arrangement that I have received, and on the ones I have specified exactly what I wanted. They carried out my wishes with an extra flair that only a great floral designer could achieve! Pros: Great Location on Melrose in West Hollywood!!! Cons: Only con... I used them only twice - I am mostly impressed by how these people are putting 100% commitment to make the client happy - They were really nice on the phone - They even called me back to make sure all was good - I heard the flowers were beautiful - So, I'll use them surely again - As soon as I'll find a new special person to send them to :-) more

I was a first time customer, and i'm definitly going back. i ordered flowers for delivery for my mother's birthday, and they were some of the freshest, most beautiful flowers i've ever seen! i was looking for something origional, and the girl who answered the phone was very helpful. she took the time to talk to me about what i want and make suggestions based on my price range and my mom's taste. they arrived on time, and everyone in my mother's office got to see them and tell her how beautiful they were. i will definitly use these guys again and again. more

Husand ordered flowers to arrive on Friday before noon. They didn't come; I got a call from work about flowers arriving, but to someone named ""Ursula."" Husband called to tell them to redeliver on Monday. Pros: They kept trying to deliver even though late Cons: They could not take instructions!!! more

I did have an incident where the flowers I ordered from them on Valentines didn't look that great, however the person who answered the phone did warn me that the roses were not ""looking good this year because of the heavy rain."" They suggested the tulips, I ordered one of each and realized they were right. I called French Florist back and they took the roses back no problem. They even gave me some more tulips to ""make things right."" I had a pleasant experiance and will be using them again. more

My boyfriend ordered an arrangement of roses in a vase for $80 and the florist delivered a $40 arrangement of carnations instead! I've heard of flower substitutions but a florist should know the difference between a $80 arrangement vs. a $40 arrangement. more

Half-dead, black-around-the-edges, torn roses were sent to me in an ugly silver vase with a heart cut-out. Arrangement itself was very untasteful/awkward as the flowers were odd in height and was mixed with limp/too-long of thin leaves that hung over. I had never received anything like this so I was upset/embarrassed with comments made by co-workers. I decided to take it back to the store and this one man that worked there was not very smart and kept asking what flowers he can replace them with when I had already stated that I just want a refund. So, this other girl helped me instead with the refund. They didn't apologize and just made the excuse of, ""it must have just gotten knocked around in the truck."" Also, when I had let my boyfriend know, he described a completely different arrangement in a different vase that he had ordered. more
