The service department su cks at this place. The manager at this place act like a car sales man and try to sell you all lot of stuff. I had a major problem with my car after coming back from this place and they are very poor in admitting their fault. I think you are better off to work with small local shop than taking your vehicle for a oil change or any major fixer. more

Awesome Service! 4/22/2012

I received a recall notice from Toyota for my 2008 Corolla and had to take it into the dealership. I was cringing that I had to take it to Fremont Toyota since I swore that I would never return there after the way their service department treated me three years go, but I live in Fremont so it was convenient. Saturdays are the only time I have so i made an appointment and drove up to a monster line in the driveway and I figured an hour before someone would even look at me. Within 2 minutes a young girl walked up to me took some information down told me someone would be right with me and thanked me for my business. After about 5 minutes the line was efficiently moved through and I was greeted by Matt. He gave me all of the info on my recall, was friendly, caring and even gave me a voucher for a coffee and delicious pastry. The car was finished ahead of schedule and they delivered it to me washed and vacuumed. Matt also provided the best inspection printout on my car that I have ever seen, it was thorough and complete. Not sure what they have done at Fremont Toyota but bravo! My guess is that there is a new owner as this experience was a far cry from how I was treated in the past. Thank you Matt and Fremont Toyota, I will be back. more

CHEATERS!!! 5/8/2011

After week's struggle and opening a case I got appointment scheduled for today to install my DVD which was promised at the sale which was valued at $1000 (close to factory installed) but when they actually installed it today it was a DVD player which costing around $150 when searched in internet and apart from that after the installation they never cleaned the vechile the mess made while instalation. They had all foot print marks on leather seats and stained carpet also they promised to do a complimentary car wash which was never performed. They didn't even bother to clean it even after asking.\r \r WORST Experience and worst service and BIG cheaters promised for a DVD which is eqvalent to the factory installed but ended with cheap stuff. more

Dont go to this Stupid dealer 5/2/2011

Hi, \r \r My sincere advise based on my experience is don't go to this dealer. \r \r Last weekend i had a very Bad experience with this dealer. I went there to buy Toyota Camry. One of the sales rep gave a quote and i asked him to beat another Toyota dealers quote.The sales rep said for that price, he cant take any decision and called the manager. I discussed with the manager, after few minutes of discussion he agreed for my price. I filled the application, signed the documents. The sales rep ran my credit report(credit score is very good) and finally asked us to wait for financial department call for signing the financing document. As we are waiting for the call, that f----- manager came and said that he cant honor his promise and demand more money. After a lengthy argument we left the place without any purchase. That M---- F----- initially accepted the price and took my signatures on all docs, ran my credit report then changed the price which is most disgusting,unethical business policy. \r I am also planning to give a compliant to Toyota on this dealer. Bait and Switch 9/13/2010

"Bait and Switch" If you don't know what it is look it up or go to this dealer and experience it first hand. It is illegal, but the Fremont police department won't get involved - no enforcement no problem for dealer and they know it. Shame on Toyota for allowing this dealer to operate. more

My worst experience 9/6/2009

The sales person press me very hard about buying the car right now and he offered very high price. All was OK until my question: "Can you give me the invoice"? He said: "I can not give you the invoice", then turned around and tried to go away. I asked him about his manager. He brought me to his manager. Manager said that he can get me the invoice but the price is final and I am wasting my time. If you wanted to be high pressed and did not know the real price of the car, you can go to this dealership. I strongly recommend to find another place. more

Fraudulent Car Sale by FREMONT TOYOTA 8/21/2009

In Dec 2008, I went to Fremont Toyota dealer to purchase a certified used car and this turned out to be a nightmare, I've been to Mercedes dealers many times and never experienced such problems. This report is for consumers to be AWAY from Fremont Toyota (located at 5851 Cushing Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538) as you could loose your life if you purchased the car there. A . Fraudulent representation on 160 point assurance certified used car: Vehicle does NOT pass 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection I purchased a certified used Toyota car on 12/22/2008(with mileage about 32500) The certified car should pass 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection Between on 12/22/2009 and 1/1/2009 ( 1 and 6 days after the purchase), I find the following problems on the car, these problems indicate that the car HAS NOT gone through the complete 160-Point Quality Assurance Inspection at all and could cause life threatening problems while driving. 1. FREMONT TOYOTA is deceiving 8/14/2009

On Saturday, June 27th, I purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla. They had approved a $1,000 discount for being a new college graduate. I signed the contract and went on my way. About three days after my purchase, I received a call from Bill La saying that they had made a mistake with the APR they had approved for me. They originally gave me a 3.9% APR, but he said that it was supposed to be 2.9% because the 3.9% was for Camrys and not Toyotas. I agreed to go to the dealership that evening to re-sign the contract. About 3 weeks later, I got a call from Bill La, Finance Manager, saying that they made a mistake by granting me the $1,000 discount but later learning that I had past the cut-off date for eligibility for the college grad discount. Sales Manager, Michale Shannon, had given us the $1,000 discount. We were also working with Leo Alansalon. Rightfully, I disagreed to re-sign the contract because they had already granted me the discount and should not have approved it in the first place. more

VERY RUDE- 4/30/2008

The manager or whoever sits behind the wall (out of customers sight) was very rude. They lack customer service, I don't know if it's their culture or what. I even ended up paying for two warranties, one came with the car, called a Certified power Train warr. 7 yrs. or 100K miles, but they failed to tell you the 7 years start from the ORIGINAL Purchase, which the car I bought in 2007 is covered until 2009, so you see, it is not a 7 yr warr and the miles, I purchased the car at 50k miles, so I actually only have 50k miles warr. plus they advised me to get a service warrantee added that adds 40 more to my monthly payment that I don't need (which I canceled today). but I have told everyone I know that I would not go back there again. I don't mind paying more money for anything if the customer service is good. People want honestly, not a bunch of B.S. As far as the service dept. I have been here in US for quiet a long while and I have not met even ONE rude person, in fact I loved the way people here smile at you and say hello.All this until I decided to buy a new car!! The car sales man here at Fremont Toyota knew we were first time buyers, so obviously he took us for a ride. We wanted a quote, he said we would HAVE to go to the lot and find a car we liked and ONLY then he would give us a quote, even though we said we know what kind of car we want. We went to the lot and picked out a car and then we were pressured into test driving the car, they repeated NO quote WITHOUT a test drive!!So we finally took the test drive. I called and took an appointment for the smog test of my van. They quoted the price to be $39.99. But when I came to get the smoke test done. They said the price is 120.00. I was shocked to say the least. I asked them to honor the price they originally quoted. but the manager denied. But eventually after compalining to their higher up. I got that price.
