My wife was rear-ended on May 15th in Dallas TX. The vehicle had Fred Loya Insurance. The estimator finally came on May 24th saw and confirmed the damages wrote a report. Well the claims adjuster based out of San Antonio, Phillip Dalasta, gave us the run around. Fist he could not get a hold of the insured. Then he could not get a hold his adjuster in the field to check the insured vehicle. I called him at least three times to get a status of the claim to fix my vehicle. Then after he get the photos he sees damage in the insured car but tells me that the insured claims that she never hit our car. So on 6/13/12 a month later after all kinds of "stories" he decides to deny the claim. I placed a complaint with TDI and I am awaiting an answer.
I did some research on the internet. There have been many negative filings at the BBB and also a fine of $10,000 given to them by your office. Apparently many others have suffered thru the same issue as I have. It appears to me that company does not like to pay minor collision damages in hopes that the accident victims just give up and go away.
