I ordered my wedding flowers from Fran's (as per a friend's suggestion - because she knew the owner from her church). The first day I went in the store, the two ladies were a little on the rude side to me, but I did not say anything. My husband and I were already thrown off by the fact that it smelled like animal in the store and they had two fat cats right up near the counter. Both of us are allergic. We kept this to ourselves and joked about how great of a life a cat has. The lady behind the counter was a bit snotty. I ordered my flowers (SPECIFICALLY TO HAVE THE COLORS LIGHT AND DARK BLUE - to match my bridesmaids dresses). We paid her half and made a deal with the lady to pay the rest one week before the wedding. TWO weeks before the wedding, the lady called me and asked for my HUSBANDS credit card # to pay the remainder of the bill. I reminded her that we still had one week as per our agreement, and once again, I received an attitude. She pointed out rudely that the next week is also the college graduation date and I am pushing her limits. (How is this my problem when I ordered my flowers months in advance)? Anyhow, the next week, we paid our bill and my husband to be made arrangements to pick up the flowers, After the flowers were picked up (in all the hussle before the wedding), my husband to be dropped the boxes of flowers off to the cake guy (who would be arranging them within our wedding cake - to be ready when we arrived at the reception hall after the ceremony). Fast forward to the reception and the flowers on my cake were NOT blue like I had specifically ordered, but PURPLE! They did not match my wedding theme or bridesmaids at all!! I am greatly disappointed with the service that I received from Frans and DO NOT recommend anyone to buy flowers from there.... esp wedding flowers. A wedding is a very important day and one would want everything to be perfect. Whenever I look at the photos of my cake, I cannot help but to feel let down and disappointed. Please seek out a different flower place for any important event.
