Editorial review from Citysearch 9/12/2012

The owner is cheap. He put my tire on wrong, and when I came back 20 minutes later, he tried to charge me for his own mistake, after I had spent way too much money there in the first place. Go elsewhere, you can get better service, for much cheaper. more

Worst costumer service ever! 7/13/2008

I will never set foot in this shop again and advise the same of others. The owner was so rude, judgemental and mean- I had every intention of buying a new bike there but decided not to just because I did not want to give him my money- I will go elsewhere where the salespeople actually respect and listen to their customers. Pros: location Cons: rude, understocked, mean more

Not So Good 4/28/2008

A very good no-frills shop 8/11/2005

Not the place to go if you want to get schmoozed into buying a 3000 dollar bike you don't need. There's a reason why Bike Worx is endorsed by Wharton guide - because they won't rip you off. Most people don't need their bike to be like Lance Armstrong's. If there is a cheaper way I have yet to see it. Yes the owner has his moods. But he's not a crook. I've seen people with a simple problem and the owner fix it for free. If you want to get sunshine blown up your rear end or get ripped off then go to his competition - it's that simple. If you are frugal, want a cheap bike that will get you from A to B and access the best tune ups and repair shop in the city (Joe is _the man_) then go to these guys. Pros: Cheap, Great Repair, Value Cons: Gruff sometimes more

Obnoxious Sales tactics 6/20/2005

The owner is aweful! He will not stop talking!!! I""ve never had such a terrible experience in a store before. He bashes every bike brand excluding his own. He thinks Bianchi and Fugi are terrible. He pressured a friend of mine to buy a bike he didn't even want! He is so terrible I don't even know where to begin. Pros: Cheap bikes Cons: pushy, obnoxious, unorganized more

If you like to be belittled by an independant business owner then this is the place to go. In the five minutes I was in this store I saw two other customers feel pressured to buy things they didn't want and leave empty handed. I also heard the owner tell a customer that if she had to think about what kind of bike she had it sucked. I will never buy anything there. Pros: not crowded Cons: , understocked, RUDE! more
