The first time my husband and I went there with our 4 kids, there was someone waiting for a table in front of us. It was a couple. They let us sit first because the table that opened first sat 4 and we had 6. As my kids went to sit down, the OWNER, Nancy started yelling at them that the other couple was waiting longer and they had to wait. When the other woman told her that they said to go ahead, no apologies. We enjoyed the food though so we attributed it to it being stress from their move to rt20 (they had just reopened the week before). We went back a few times and had no problems. Today, we went, just hubby and I. The waitress forgot the milk for my tea, I had to ask her for it 3 times. Then she wrote my order wrong so I didn?t get my homefries. Since she never came over to ask how the food was, I never got them, though when she did come over, once we were almost done eating, I did tell her that she forgot them, and that my hubby?s eggs, which he ordered over hard, were runny..yoke not cooked through. I told her not to worry about it though because we were almost done. Once we finished, we waited an extra 15 minutes for the check because she never brought it over. We paid and left. I called a few minutes later to tell the owner about our experiance simply so she would know. I got as far as telling her I was unhappy when she started telling me that I had not ordered homefries. I assured her that I had indeed ordered them and she continued to tell me that I hadn?t, they were not on the check ect. I tried to tell her that was not my only problem and she started giving me attitude almost from the beginning. When I said I had to ask 3 times for the milk for my tea, she stated ?Well we give cream? I said I know, thats why I asked for milk, but I should not have had to ask 3 times. SHe accused me of yelling at her on the phone over a few homefries. I was exasperated yes, but certainly not yelling. I never even told her the rest of what I was calling about becasue it was CLEAR that she did NOT care about any of it and was inconvienced by my call and thought I was just trying to get something for nothing. I will NEVER return to that place. I will make it my business to let anyone and everyone know how she treats her customers. I have NEVER been treated like that for calling a complaint in to a place before. I even left the bad waitress a tip! I am APPALED that this woman owns a place and still treats her customers like that.
