Forsgren, Brian, Dvm - Gateway Animal Clinic

Good: The receptionist were wonderful. Very very friendly. The whole staff was great. Dr. Brian Forsgren D.V.M. was extreamly friendly and informative and asked questions concerning my cat, explained what was possibly wrong, investigated, and got back with me in a very short time. The bill was very reasonable. For a first time visit I liked everything about this clinic.Its waiting area is clean, the owners and their pets are very nice so waiting is a good experience.. Bad: I have nothing to say but good things about this clinic. The clinic is a walk in but I have waited longer for appointments. Its a very orderly process. You are given a number and everyone is served.. Improvements: The clinic is a little out of the way, but well worth taking your pet there.. Other: I will highly recommend anyone to take their pet there. It is an efficent process, and speaking to the other pet owners waiting is also fun. I could tell the staff loves animals also. It is very good as far as service. I was a bit apprehensive when I read some the reviews on the receptionists, and found they are nothing but wonderful. I asked their names a number of times. I didn't write them down, but they were there on Thursday evening. Honest all of the staff I came into contact with were great!. more

I have a slew of pets and do a lot of rescuing. I have used this clinic for a number of reasons including regular annual check ups, to spay/neutering, to emergencies. I have dealt with most all of the Doctors. Everyone is great, kind and caring. I highly recommend this clinic. However, this use to be a much more affordable clinic. They have raised their prices so much over the last few years that they are now pretty much compatible to most other clinics. Therefore, if you do not mind the philosophy of a walk-in clinic, and are looking for good quality Dr's giving good quality care, then this is the place for you. more

DR. BOB AND THE STAFF ARE THE BEST YOU WILL EVER FIND. DR. BOB IS THE BEST VET EVER. NOT ONLY IS HE A VERY COMPASIONATE AND WONDERFUL GUY BUT HE IS AN AWESOME VET. I HAVE THE UPMOST CONFIDENCE IN HIM THAT I WAIT A LONG TIME JUST TO SEE HIM- EVEN IF SPEEDIE-MY CAT AND WINNIE-MY DOG NEED ONLY A NAIL TRIM. HE HAS WHIPPED MY CAT AND DOG BACK INTO SHAPE ANYTIME THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEM. WINNIE ESPECIALLY LOVES HIS SCOOBIE SNACKS AND SHE EVEN KNOWS WHAT POCKET HE KEEPS THEM IN. I have to say that I am a bit biased. I have known Dr. Bob since were kids growing up on the west side of Cleveland. He was pretty much born to be a vet, always an animal lover. That aside, Dr. Bob is a wonderful and caring vet and he is very knowledgeable as well. The staff at Gateway is very caring and friendly also. In addition to that, I don't feel that they overcharge you or perform unneeded testing which is something I found at my previous vet's office. I would recommend Gateway to anyone looking for a vet. more

Atticus and I are grateful for meeting Dr. Abby Behrens in Key West. She generously gave Atticus a once over. Not only did she impart great advice, but was loving and gentle with my sweet baby. Atticus and I both wish she was Atticus's regular vet! more

Gateway animal hospital is a great animal hospital that I would recommend to anyone. I've been to Dr. Denes Pal's animal practice in Strongsville and the place was awful--their prices were outrageous, the staff was hurried and at times unfriendly and the vet didn't seem to put that much care into my pet's health. At Gateway animal clinic, they know me by name, the vets are extremely friendly, caring, compassionate and honest. They have no problem explaining something that you don't understand. And their prices are reasonable for anyone!! Dr. Bob and Dr. Brian and Dr. Liz--you guys rock!!! Keep up the great work. Many animals (including myself) are very lucky to have such caring vets!! more

The Gateway Animal Clinic is one of the best animal clinics that I know of. Even though everyone who works there is very skilled, it’s always a treat to get Dr. Robert Litkovitz. When I first went, I wasn’t sure what to expect (a friend had told me about this place), but once I got there I was very impressed. Dr. Litkovitz did an excellent job on my dog. He was very friendly, helpful, and compassionate. I think it’s safe to say that he will always by my pet’s doctor!!! more
