Forever 21 is trend, cheap, and pretty damn chic (well, for the price). It?s similar to Wet Seal or Mandee in terms of style and it?s target of the teenage market- in fact, it?s so teeny-bopper, they have an entire line of active wear devoted to ?Hello Kitty?. The stores are big, and dresses start at $10 ($6 when in clearance!). A lot of people don?t know that Forever 21 now offers Men?s and Girl?s (tween) lines too, and I was shocked to see they have a Maternity line, but with all those teen mothers out there, I guess I shouldn?t be! I was shocked to discover they have at least 40 different styles of ?rompers? (one piece short/top combined outfit), and they were all really cute? awesome, bright, vintagey floral and geometric prints and cuts that could easily be mistaken for designer stuff worn by hipsters in the East Village.
Their ?Heritage 1981? seems to be a knock-off of American Apparels California Vintage line. The downsides are that the fabric pills pretty quickly, and the colors and prints, overall tend to be a little garish. Unfortunately, they do not offer plus size and only run up to a size Large.
