i have had my grandson's feet and hands done for 15 years by Sarah..from his first year til now..ornaments each year for Christmas..his footprint when he was 6yrs old i still use ...


give refunds and would give me a $10 voucher for my next visit, but I didn’t feel $10 on another visit was enough on a $100 order, so she agreed to give me an unspecified discount...

i have had my grandson's feet and hands done for 15 years by Sarah..from his first year til now..ornaments each year for Christmas..his footprint when he was 6yrs old i still use as a spoon rest on my stove..and i have his first handprint and footprint on a tiny ..on my dining room table where every day i marvel at how quickly time has flown by ..he is 15 now....thus when i called up to add this review i saw Erin K's review and couldnt believe it..who would ask for a refund for a perfect product? she is pointing her finger at Sarah as being solely responsible ..but her thumb is pointing back at herself ..she is rude and lacks tolerance..its obviously all about her and no one else! Sarah you are wonderful..keep up the good work..we encounter negative people every once in a while..and Erin K is one of is way too short ..smiles :) more

I am tired of people like this long-winded reviewer Erin K. lying just to vent their frustrations over their own shortcomings. This person WAS called within the 6 to 8 week time frame quoted, well in advance of Father's Day, but did not respond to TWO (2) phone calls, which I have phone records for, letting her know her order was ready for pick up early. Instead, she waited until the evening before Father's Day, Saturday at 4:53pm, to call and demand in voicemail that she be able to either pick her order up that evening, or the next day which happened to be Sunday and Father's Day. Needless to say, I was closed the evening she called and on Sunday, Father's Day, and when I eventually returned her phone call Monday she used every fowl word in the book towards me, clearly upset at the fact that she blew it, and accusing ME of ruining her husband's day. I'm pretty certain she did that on her own. In any case, the internet allows people like this a forum to lie and a chance to con and manipulate the facts and that is unfortunate. My customers, whom I have cherished and served for over 16 years will know the truth when they read her lies because they know me and how I run my business. It is a business run for the purpose of providing a wonderful service for families and to allow me to be a good mother simultaneously. I am ONE person, running a small little art business, NOT some multi-managed conglomerate. And yes, I deal occasionally, but fortunately not often, with people like Erin who clearly have bigger problems than I can even imagine. Very sad. TO REITERATE, the order was done ON TIME and EXACTLY as promised. It was lovely. Erin just didn't make it a priority to call until after my business hours, the day before she needed it. Is that my fault? I don't make a habit of giving refunds to people simply because they are poor planners and don't make arrangements to pick up their order in time for an important event. She received it Monday, demanded a full refund and didn't like being told no. Tragic. more

However, after thinking about it I called her when I picked up the products and told her while I think the items were great and there was nothing wrong with them, I didn’t want a discount for my next visit because she didn’t give me any reason why I should come back, so I asked for a portion of my money back on this order. She told me she would not do that because there was nothing wrong with the product and told me that most of her customers don’t receive their products within the specified time and that if I wanted my products by a certain time I should have called. I told her that not only did she tell me when I ordered that I would receive a phone call, but the receipt also states it. She told me that it was my responsibility to call her and that she did not feel it was her fault that I didn’t receive my order in time. After both of us becoming argumentative, she began yelling at me, told me that I was making her life difficult, called me a b**** and hung up on me. She called about 15 minutes later to apologize for her behavior, but didn’t feel she was at fault. I told her I was driving and she had already made me cry that day and I didn’t need to be on the phone crying while driving in traffic. I responded with what it said on the receipt and felt it was poor business practice to blame me for not calling her. She again became upset and yelled at me and I told her if she wanted to continue the conversation I would call her when I wasn’t driving, but she continued to yell, so I was forced to hang up the phone for safety. I chose not to call her back because I felt she wasn't worth breath and tears. We did decide to keep the items 1) because it was imprints of our child and 2) I didn't want to be belittled again. I wanted to be a repeat customer, but after the way I was treated I would never order from her again. more

Bitter Sweet Gift 6/20/2012

I recently purchased two items from Footprints ‘N More. While they are beautiful products, I will not return to this business because of the extremely poor customer service of the owner. I ordered as a Father’s Day gift for my husband over 10 weeks in advance. When I placed the order, Sarah Martin (owner) told me it will take between 6 and 8 weeks before they would be ready for pick up and she would call when they were done. I thought this would be fine since I had a little over 10 weeks before FD. I was so excited to receive the phone call in the 8th week; since I hadn’t heard from her I figured this was the week. Nothing. I gave her through the 9th week because when I ordered she told me she had just moved the business and was still trying to organize everything, so I thought this was the case. When I called the first time she was out of the store and told me if my items were ready she would call me. I didn’t receive a call the next day, so I gave her a couple of days before I called again (I didn’t want to be a pest because she did tell me twice now that she would call me and it is also stated on the receipt). When I called a week before FD she said they weren’t ready, and I explained to her that this was a gift and I thought I had timed it perfectly when I ordered to have it by the day. She told me that they would definitely be ready by the end of the week. This was fine because the end of the week is Sat. and FD is on a Sun.; however, I was beginning to get frustrated. I didn’t hear from her Fri., so I called Sat. to find out she had gone out of town, but the product WAS ready and as she said, “I didn’t get around to making all my phone calls. I’m not perfect.” I was so very upset at this point, she told me I could pick it up on Mon., and I got off the phone and cried. She then called me on Mon. (finally she made a phone call) to make sure I was still goingto come pick it up. I told her was still wanting to pick it up today, but felt I deserved a portion of my money back. She proceeded to tell me she didn’t more

Clarification for "Guest" 2/9/2011

I am Sarah, the owner of this business. I am writing this review in response to "Guest" who asserted that I am not commited to my business. First, I want to apologize publicly to "Guest" if they had any problems with my service. Customer service is my number one priority so it hurts me that you took this venue (internet blog), rather than speaking to me directly, to air your feelings. Second, I want you to know that my son's father died on Christmas Day 2009 (12/25/09) so your assertion that I was unavailable, while correct, is a sweeping statement and does not take into consideration the fact that we were dealing with a tremendous loss in our family. And yes, I may not have been as available as I am usually for a brief period. Normally I am available by appointment, Monday through Saturday, and even in the evening until 8pm. Perhaps, "Guest", had you known this personal issue of mine, you may have been more sensitive to why there was a brief period of "unavailability" on my part. In any case, I still value your business and do sincerely apologize for ANY inconvenience to you dear "Guest" and/or to any of your alleged gift certificate recipients who may have had any difficulty. As a concession, I would gladly refund your money (and/or your friends money), should you choose to contact me and disclose more of the facts, as I am truly in the dark as to any problems you had. Great Place! Excellent Service! Very Happy! 2/8/2011

This business is awesome! The owner, Sarah, went out of her way to help us make out child's footprint experience a pleasurable one. She was available to meet with us by appointment any time we wanted, Monday through Saturday, and she even met with us in the evening so our whole family could attend. She works her business around her children and family which is so nice to see in this day and age. I champion a business that puts family first and still provides a top quality product at a great price. I cannot say enough good things about this business and our experience. Cute...but service is Ehhh... 2/3/2010

I love these footprints and gifts...they are great and a must have, however, the service is VERY POOR. There is never anyone in the store, you always have to call to try to catch someone available for an appointment or to pick up. They say it takes up to 8 weeks, and it has always taken longer for my orders. I gave two people gift certificates and they had the same problem, it was a little embaressing. Will not do gift certificates anymore, and I can't say I will go there anymore...although I know I will have more kids. Such a sad thing, because they could have an awesome business, and I can't imagine how much they are losing for not being commited to their business. more

Great Gift for Parents and Grandparents 8/2/2005

I cannot rave enough about this store and the owners. Such fantastic service and such cute gifts. They take a hand or foot prints of your baby and design it into a plaque or ornament. You can also do family prints. If you bring in a picture of an object, they can put the hand prints into the shape of that object. So unique. They have a wide range of colors to choose from. Highly recommend! more
