My friends and I went to the New Years All night Skate from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am . We had a blast and it only cost $20.00 we got a Nacho, Hot dog and soda. They played good music all night and lot's of games. I also met new friends and am getting a season pass. I can't wait for the Spring Fling All Night Skate this March 19th. This place is a sh*t hole, I am very disappointed and feel embarrassed to have had my child's birthday party there. The food was horrible and I mean horrible, the shot glass sodas for $1.25 didn't help either, nothing healthy either but I can expect that for a concession. You can't even bring an apple or water bottle in. The staff was absolute rude and very disrespectful toward myself and guests. The bathroom was disgusting and made me sick, and I didn't even think about using them. The games for the skaters need to be structured to have more fun; they should entail some employee spirt if they have any. The music was good for older teenagers but we had a younger aged party. The overwhelming smell as you walk in is just that overwhelming. The floors need attention as do the skates. The only good thing about the joint was the price, but I would have rather paid more for a far better experience and not have the feeling of failure due to my choice. Oh and you can't even come in early to set anything up for your party. Pros: Price Cons: everything else more

I highly recommend this skating rink. The employees were very friendly and helpful. My children are new to roller skating so they took a few falls. Everytime a floor guard was right there to help them up. The building was clean and well maintained. I ordered a pizza at the snack bar for my children. I decided to sample it myself and found it suprisingly good. We had a great time and we are already planning our next visit. Before you purchase any food here, you might want to read their past County Food Inspection reports which include ""vermin control measures"", ""poor personal hygiene"", and ""contaminated equipment"" to name a few. While using the rink on a Saturday afternoon, my car was broken into in the parking lot--the windows were broken out. Cons: lack of security, very old out-dated facility more

I also would not recommend this rink. There are numerous safety concerns. My children were victims of a felony armed robbery inside of the building (two police department reports have documented this.) The management was not helpful. I have used this rink numerous times since the 70's, and it has progressively gone down hill with a management that cares more about making money than safety of their patrons. more

I have to write a comment about what the person above wrote. I was there that night of this supposed ""crime"" and witnessed everything that occurred. This person is pretty much insane and is mad because their children who are outcasts did not have a good time at the skating rink. That night I heard that person arguing with the manager saying that they wanted a refund because their kids did not have a good time, and when the manager told them that the session was already over and all she could do was give them free skate passes for next time, then all of the sudden a ""crime "" occurred that was neglected. I was a shocked! This person starting going crazy saying that they were going to get Channel 3 news involved and they wanted the police called. Look, I have been skating at this rink for 18 years and this company is family owned and operated. They are wonderful people and they run their business professionally. Please do not allow the testimony of a person who speaks only of fallacious jargon to sway you opinion of this wonderful business. I have been involved with the skating world all of my life and I have been to all the rinks in Sacramento and I have chosen to make Foothill Skate Inn my home because they are unlike any other rink out there. They genuinely care about their customers and will go the extra mile to make their customer?s skating experience memorable. Pros: Clean beautiful building and excellent customer service more

Be warned if you take children to this rink. There is a serious lack of security. On a recent Saturday, a crime occurred inside the rink. Two of the staff were notified, and failed to provide any assistance to the child victims. The evening manager also failed to provide help. The police were not even called to assist the victims.
