FDW are thieves that will take your money and never finish the work. We've been waiting for months now to get our floors put in after he ripped out our water damaged flooring. Now we can't get a return call, text or email. His voicemail box is full constantly, and has been in hiding when I try to get a refund. When i finally caught him in person, he lied and basically told me to leave him alone as i can only assume he has spent the money i gave him. We are now taking it through small claims court. Stay away from this business all together! more

We had a great experience with FDW! We purchased our own flooring and acclimated it for over a week in our A/C controlled home. FDW's crew did a great job staging and installing the engineered bamboo flooring. The installers were courteous, respectable, cleaned up along the way and were enjoyable to be around. The office had great communication with us and I love that the owner of the company was completely involved in the overview and actual installation. I love that this is a family owned business. They treated us very well. more

We had our whole house installed by fdw, 4 weeks after installed they warped and popped up. We contacted fdw and got the run around, the owner was very confrontational, said we had slab leak, and about 10 other excuses. We payed to have someone come out and confirm no slab leak. It was a 3 year nightmare- we had to get an attorney, and we payed wood specialist to come out and confirm that they never scrapped the glue off the concrete before laying the floors. Never do it again, we tell everyone to stay away! more

Honestly, I originally thought they did an okay job installing our floors. However I am now having a HUGE amount of warping going on and the only person I can get to speak to me is the woman who answers the phone. She just keeps giving me abrupt messages from the owner. She gave me a quote from him without anyone even coming out to see the problem I am speaking about. They are giving me all kinds of aggressive-feeling explanation without even looking at the floor. It feels like they are defensive and they haven't even looked at the problem area. The vibe is so ""icky"" that we will most likely get our floor repaired by someone else (unless my husband wants to deal with these people). I would never recommend them to anyone, ever. more

We went to The Home Depot (HD) for a quote on Hardwood Floors and compared them to Floors Done Wright (FDW). FDW was half the price and twice the quality. HD was lazy and instead of removing the baseboard they wanted us to adda quarter round molding at the bottom. That would have looked really ugly. But FDW took the time to remove the baseboard, install the floor and then reinstall the baseboard. Much better option than HDs suggestion of adding a quarter round molding. Also, HD wanted us to purchase $300 worth of ""transitions"" to install where the wood floor meets our carpte. FDW made this a seamless installation that looks WAY BETTER than a transition would have. They were meticulous and very detail oriented. I highly recommend them. more

Installers made a pretty big mistake and the owner flipped out on me. I had to have the wood supplier intervene on my behalf. It was very unpleasant and took much longer than it should. Even though the repair went well, there are parts of the install that show the poor workmanship. Highly recommend that you find someone else! Floors Done Wright was recommended to us through an acquaintance. We could not be happier with the product and the service. We purchased wood flooring to install ourselves. The Staff went out of their way to be helpful and give us advise on installing the flooring. They recommended the amount of glue, wood, transitions and when they delivered the wood they recommended the best area to start the installation. They have never hesitated to answer a question. We asked a lot of questions. This is a family run business and each family member we spoke with was great. We plan to continue the hard wood throughout the rest of the house. We gave this company quite a bit of business (around $15k) and got a hardwood floor that very quickly warped and buckled. They were quick to make a lot of promises on the front end, but really failed on the delivery of a good product and good customer service. When we approached the company about remedies to fixing the hardwood floors they installed, they absolved themselves of any accountability and would not work with us. They were also very defensive and pretty confrontational about the poor product they obviously used and the shoddy service they obviously provided.
