This was my first time at Flip since the change in ownership. Although I liked it before, it is MUCH better now. The bar style decor is the same comfy casual. The service is good. The burger was excellent. The menus has more variety, but it is simple enough that you know your food will be fresh. \r \r I had the Fireman burger with jalapeños and I savored every bite. The favors were perfectly balanced. The bun was fresh and nicely toasted. It had just the right amount of heat. The meat was charred on the outside with a nice smokey taste, but moist on the inside. It had just enough cheese. Very yummy. I actually stopped talking while I ate this and even though I was full after eating half the 10 oz burger I finished every bit of it.\r \r My friend had the turkey burger, which I honestly thought would be one of those "healthy alternative" deals with neither guilt nor flavor. How wrong I was. It was really good. The turkey was ground just enough to make the patty and you could still tell it was turkey both in taste and appearance. Nicely done. I would now definitely try a salad or the chicken sandwich. I'll keep you posted as this is now one of my favorite places.\r \r We had the cole slaw and onion rings, one side comes with the burgers. Nice creamy cole slaw and delicious rings. I really felt like I got my money's worth with the side included. It was just enough.\r \r The big screen tv's are easily viewed from every table. This would be a good place to go for a game as it is intimate enough that you can interact with the other customers.\r \r I almost forgot the beer. The selection of bottled beer is impressive and the draft beer is nice and fresh. \r \r This place is a great neighborhood joint that can handle a business lunch, a stop off on your bike ride (bike rack right outside the window), a family dinner, a casual date or a beer soaked football game. Emilio, the owner and chef is friendly and attentive without being intrusive and he is a really good cook. When he asked how our food was I felt he really wanted to know and would happily accept constructive criticism even though I honestly wouldn't change a thing. more

Burgers are good. Wings not so good. Paying $1.50 for a can soda is ridiculous. more

I had the Cuban and my husband had the Classic, they were both increidibly juicy and delicious! The onion rings were divine and the seasoned fries were PERFECT! \r Waitress was very attentive and owner came out to greet us, it felt so comfortable and makes you want to be back very soon! There's a lot of interesting menu items I want to try :) more

This place has horrible burgers. I threw up for thee days after eating the greasiest lowest quality nastiest burger from this place. It might as well have been cat food splattered with bat crap. You will regret going here if you ever do. Servers are rude, bipolar, irrational and bothersome. They were constantly chatting and not serving. A burger mean took 2 and half hours. It was unheard of. Please dont make the same mistake I did. more

I just finished my Flip Signature Burger and Onion Rings, both were fantastic.\r \r The onion rings were the best I'd had in years; the burger was cooked to perfection, and had outstanding flavor. The gruyére cheese was a fantastic touch. I had the onion marmalade on the side and I am glad I did; although it was clearly homemade and had fantastic flavor, it was far too sweet for my tastes. The brioche bun reminded me of the pretzel rolls they served at the German bakery in my hometown - fantastic stuff. All of the veggies were crisp and fresh. My only complaint regarding the food pertains to the pickle - it was a cheap flavorless rendition of a dill. It'd be better to have no pickle at all.\r \r All in all, this was a fantastic experience, great food, good service and a nice ambiance (although, what is with the shelf with Costco sized containers of ketchup, mustard, pickles and half full bus trays in the dining room? This should be in the back!). more

Mom says you can't eat burgers every day, but Flip Burger will make you reconsider. \r \r Great food! The sheer massive-ness of the burgers makes the prices very reasonable. \r \r The beer selection is a thing of beauty with brews from all over the world. It is backed up with a solid wine selection that proves a smart business owner knows how to work a beer and wine license. I was happy to drink Boddinton's again. \r \r The mac and cheese was solid and creamy. Shared between three people it was just enough to whet the appetite. A very good starter. \r \r But the burgers, the burgers, my God, the burgers! Gloriously grilled steaming slabs of juicy delicious meat. My inner cave man wept tears of joy. \r \r I ordered the Ultimate Breakfast burger -- a mega-normous steak burger topped with fried eggs, cheddar cheese and bacon. It was so good I couldn't stop eating until the entire thing was gone. The silence at the table proved that I wasn't the only one. \r \r The three of us split an order of fries and onion rings. The fries vanished and we left a few onion rings. \r \r Flip Burger is a great neighborhood burger bar. This is a great place for lunch, dinner and even a great place to take a date. \r \r However, be warned, the burgers are JUICY! Be careful or you'll get some of that delicious goodness on your shirt. The food was so good I didn't care about my shirt.\r \r I will be going back to Flip Burger. Check it out -- you'll be glad you did. more
